PARTING DAYS: Chapter F-Fallen Star

* 10 days after his break.*

They were casually sitting in the sofa, discussing multiple things when she suddenly started a topic the one with her at the time found rather peculiar.

" Poki, Sykkuno isn't answering my invites."

She noticed a shocked expression on her face.

" What's with the face?"

Poki: " That's kinda weird. I tought he like realllllly liked to play with you."

" Why do you say it like that?"

Poki, giggling: " Don't think about it too much. I'm sure if he'll eventually respond. "

" Maybe you're right."

Poki:" He'd never ghost you of all people, unless....."

" Unless what? What's on your mind?"

She crossed her legs and gazed at her. Her eyebrows going up as the expression on her face reflected her disarray.

" What's the matter, Poki ?"

Poki: " Maybe he got over it..."

" Over what exactly. I feel like I am missing something here."

She seemed surprised.

Poki: " Oh, you didn't notice?"

" Are we still on the same topic, Poki?"

Poki: " Trust me, we are."

" Was I supposed to like, notice anything different about him or something ? I don't really understand where you're going."

Poki: " How are you feeling right now?"

" What does that have to do with anything?"

Poki: " Just answer."

" Well, it feels kind of lonely sometimes but I can do with it. However, it's like it stings when he doesn't answer."

She went to sit closer to her. She looked at her straight in the eyes.

Poki: " Where does it sting?"

" T-the left side of my chest......"

Poki: " Oh, so it's like that."

" Wait! I'm starting to get where you're going! "

Noticing a reaction, she wanted to tease her a little.

Poki: " And where do you think I'm going with this?, she asked with a content smile.

Poki: " By the way, is it really true?"

" What are you referring to?"

Poki: " About his girl."

" Why would I know that?!"

Poki: " Cause you guys are great buddies......So I assumed he had told you. Why are you getting so defensive ?"

" Well, yeah, it's true."

Poki: " I think that may be why he isn't answering you, for the moment."

" My god. Is he drunk on the feeling of love or something?"

Poki: " R-Rae?!"

She raised her voice to the surprise of the personn she was talking to.

Poki: " It kind of seem like it's bothering you."

" Well, it is a weird feeling to not hear a random comment caused by nugget dust from time to time."

Poki wondered in what kind of dimension nugget dust existed.

Poki: " N-nugget dust ? Rae, are you ok?"

She kind of found her reaction funny.

" Don't think too much about it. You wouldn't get it."

She aposed her fingers below her chin to mimic a thinking motion.

" What did you mean earlier by " you didn't notice". "

Poki closed the distance between the two of them. She wrapped her right arm around and placed her left one in front of both of their eyes as to illustrate the story she was about to tell with her hand.

Poki: " I think this story might spark your interest. It happened one time when I visited otv house."
