Screams, and confusion.
Ben bustled through the maids, panting hard until he finally came to the space that they were standing around.
Of course, it happened again. It wasn't as if whoever was responsible would just stop at one right?
Lying in the middle of the floor of the dining hall in Magoji Manor, was a pile of maid's clothes, as if the wearer had recently evaporated into thin air.
"Shit." Ben gasped as he bent over the clothes. "That's the fourth one."
"A-any one of us could be next!" stammered one maid.
"What are we going to do!?" yelled another maid.
"Calm down, everyone!" yelled the head maid. "Damn it. Four in one day. W-wait has this happened before?"
Ben gritted his teeth. How was everyone forgetting the three people that had disappeared yesterday during the cleaning of the downstairs party room!?
Why was he the only one remembering anything that was happening!?
"Yesterday it happened twice, but you all forgot about it 3 hours after it happened." Ben said. "Memory and existence of them is vanishing along with their bodies."
"What's vanishing?" said the Head maid suddenly, her face looking blank. "Oh, what are those maid's clothes doing on the floor. Ben-chan, please clean that up would you?"
Ben could only stare in abject horror as all the recently panicking maids suddenly started looking confused as to why they were even panicking in the first place.
"No no no no.." Ben whispered in a trembling voice as he picked up the maid's clothes and ran off to the laundry area. "This can't be happening this can't be-."
"Oh Ben-chan!"
"R-Ruri!" Ben turned to see another maid. "H-hi."
"Ben, you look so panicked, maybe you should take a bit of a leave?" asked Ruri the maid. "You look so panicked I think-"
At that moment, Ruri went pale, she was looking at her hands in horror as they began to turn transparent.
"No.. NO!" Ben growled. "Omnitrix, analyze! Constitute DNA of the woman in front of me! Keep reconstituting her body as fast as it disappears!!"
"No DNA detected." said the Omnitrix in a female voice. "No entity exists where user is referring to."
"No, no you can't seriously-!" Ben stammered. "Come on I have to save."
