the banana splits movie

warning ⚠️ spoilers again !!!

the banana splits movie ,, oh boy.

i absolutely love this movie too ,, the movie and the show is cool !
the four characters are so likable to everyone and the movie itself had good gore and funny moments in it too.

sadly it wasn't very successful but to be fair I'm not very surprised.

pros

• original plot !
this movie had a very interesting yet original plot ,, sure it still consists of murdering animatronics ,, so fnaf ,, but the plot itself is different from the actual game !
the plot is four animatronics and human actor put on the banana split show ,, for kids ,, and the show gets canceled. they weren't in a restaurant ,, they were in a studio !

• nice history.
did you know the banana splits actually use to be a show ?? it first originated in 1968 and ended in 1970 ! then a few movies were made ,, along with another show being made in 2008 and then this movie !!
they took something that use to be so popular and tried to make it running again ,, and the fans loved it !!

• gore.
the gore in this movie is amazing as well ! sure some effects seemed really fake but the feel of it felt creepy yet interesting.

• clever catchphrases
how does one tell from one character ?? catchphrases !!
like how bingos famous line " times almost up ! "
or even Drooper's " hey kids ! put on your hap-happiest faces ,, because the banana splits show is about to begin !! "
even Fleegles amazing line " she took it down ,, to hammer down ! ".
having the characters saying they're own lines are a good way of telling which character is which !

cons

•costume designing.
let's be honest ,, the banana splits don't even LOOK like robots ,, they look like people played in suits. if your trying to portray a character to be robotic ,, not only do you have to act the part but you have to look the part as well.
the banana splits looked like either people in suits or like stuffed animals that came to life.

the actors in the suits did a good job with robotic movements but because of the costume design ,, it just threw me off.

• equal screen time
this seems to be an issue in this movie too.
take bingo for example ,, his in the cover of the movie with an AXE and not only did he get little screen time ,, the axe never showed up in the said movie.
bingo only said two things in that movie and appeared rarely ,, the ones who got most screen time was Fleegle and Drooper ,, and those didn't didn't say much.
Stevie seemed to get more screen time in this movie and he was suppose to portray a character that doesn't get a lot of love from the fans.

• not a lot of songs
let's admit it ,, the tra la la song is a EAR WORM ,, and it's a very catchy song.
great ! ... so you mean to tell me we get one song out of this entire movie ??
much like fnaf and willys wonderland ,, it's suppose to be a kids entertainment show ,, you need to give at least more songs for the characters to sing !

sure Drooper sings the tra la la song while chasing down paige but again ,, they only have one song to play ?? even in the show they had tons of songs ,, dancing and even multiple characters in it !! this won't  feel too much like a kids show if you only include one song to torture people with ,, why not add some more catchy creepy tunes ??
