"I SEE A BAD MOON, A-RISING"

Owl Claw looks around for her father and sighs "he's trying too kill the Croods again" she says and sighs as she stands and stretches

she fiddles wither pointed ears and sighs before standing up and pacing around the cave until he returns "Dad!" she says happily and hugs the Bear Owl with a smile and he coos happily dropping a dead Spider-Wolf Pup in front of me and i smile at him before hugging his head "can i go out tonight while you're out?" i ask and he nods cooing in response "Thanks dad!" i say and rip off the leg of the creature and eat it after skinning it i hand the rest too my father

that's me, I'm Owl Claw, when i was 2 my father, the Bear Owl adopted me, i don't remember my real parents, all i remember is the fact that they always said 'follow your heart, even if you regret it in the end, you still had a life changing adventure' and that is what i live by

now it's night and Owl Claw walks out and watches her father at the boulder before he gets scared away by a light making her blink and jump down she looks at sees Eep making her blink and put her hood down

her and Eep look at each other and Owl Claw gestures too the light getting a nod in response making her smile and follow "I'm Owl,by the way" she says getting a smile "eep" she says, as they run, Owl Claw smiles she looks at the shadow of a warthog making her growl sounding like her father

"RRRRAAAAAGH!!!" she growls and tackles the retreating shadow missing making her huff and growl too herself as she follows the light too see a torch lit making her tilt her head and jump down walking towards it followed by Eep and she reaches for it but it flickers too her hand making it retract and she coos in curiosity not noticing the person dressed up behind her and she smiles slightly and grabs a leaf putting it in the fire but learches away when it burns her hand and she whimpers slightly the breeze changes and she gets the scent of ashes making her freeze and turn too him and tackle hissing at the creature until human hands come up "wait!" she blinks and tilts her head raising her hand and putting it against his too notice they're the same and she crawls off and stays in a hunting position though as the boy takes his mask off making her blink

he looks at her and tilts his head with a sweet smile making her try and return it but then when she can't she uses her fingers too make her smile

"Nnngh..."

he smiles at her again with a slight chuckle and Eep drops a rock on his foot making the other girl jump and tilt her head "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGUUUUUUHHHH!!!!" the man screams making her jump while the Eep tells him too be quiet the girl just tilts her head again and licks her lips like an animal looking at their next meal before pushing the rock off the boy, before he notices the fire going out and he scrambles towards it but Eep ain't having any of that! Owl just tilts her head silently and snaps out of it when he says "please.... i'm afraid of the dark" she blinks and follows him too the light watching him fix it and she blinks "what is it called?" she asks and he blinks and smiles at her "Fire" he says proudly and she sounds the word out in a whisper not noticing her head is on his shoulder "Fi-RR" she sounds and tilts her head for conformation getting a nod and she smiles in pride and coos "It does not speak or Move?" she asks getting a shrug "No too the speaking part" he says and she nods and crawls around it in awe with a slight smile

he smiles at her adorable clueless-ness as she coos in curiosity before he explains the end of the world "Come with me" he says and offers a hand too each and Owl blinks before she hears Eep say, "We don't even know you"

"Oh right, i'm Guy and you are?"

"My name is Owl Claw" she says and smiles gesturing too herself as she reaches too his hand unsure before letting out a huff and taking it with determination "and i will come, with you" she adds and he smiles at her and they look at Eep who sighs "I can't leave my family, i'm sorry" she says and gets a nod from the two as Guy hands her a shell "if you survive call us" he says after putting his mask down and smiles underneath while Owl smiles at her and gives her head pats

"Family, is important" she says during the headpats and she smiles brightly before running off with Guy and she looks at him with a smile as they run she jumps from rock too rock as she does and looks at the boy who smiles up at her "So, what's your story?" he asks and she blinks

"My father, is a Bear Owl, he adopted me at the age of 2 the only thing i remember my biological parents saying is, 'follow your heart, even if you regret it in the end, you still had a life changing adventure' the last thing i have from my other parents is this vest" she explains and sits on the rock staring at the stars "i hardly remember what they look like" she says and looks up at the brightest star

"but i remember before they died, they said 'when we pass, we'll become the stars and watch over you for as much time as we must be given, if you look at the sky and can't see us we're still there, just not in sight'" she says and smiles softly before looking at the boy "What about yours?" she asks and they exchange stories of their lives
