chapter 15 HANDSOME MAN

Gulf......Gulf.......
"why is he not waking up?",
"give him time aye no.....,he was attacked by slayers ".
The same soothing voice......

It made him open his eyes slowly.....

Mild's enthusiastic face was the first thing that welcomed him
He grunted in sharp and menacing pain that shot through him
He winced in pain
His body felt like it was crushed with a road roller
His leg was on fire

"Oye Gulf .......you are up!!".......
"Heyy heyy, he is up..."...Mild's shrilly voice made Gulf come back to his senses much faster

He was attacked and nearly got killed,

A shadow those red eyes,

The black wolf.....

You are safe now..........those words
everything came back
He tried to grab on to something to sit up

"Hey careful you...", Mild supported Gulf and helped him to slight sit up on pillow support

"how did I get here",
Gulf asked in a cracking voice
His throat burning and dry
"Aye Tharn carried you here ",Mild said handing him a glass of water
"Tharn?",
Gulf asked confused
"Ohh you don't know him?".

"Hmmm no ",he said
"Tharn is Mew's wolf ",Mild said pointing at the tall figure at the window scribbling something in his journal
"Mew ",
Mild called
Mew looked up from his scribbling his black eyes made Gulf shiver
"Mew....Gulf ,
Gulf ......Mew ",
Mild did the formal introduction thing
"You saved me ? ",Gulf slowly asked
"Yup", Mew said curtly not bothering to explain any further
"And...carried me here?",
Gulf asked again
Mew shook his head in agreement
Gulf was stuck he didn't know what to say further
"Thank you for saving me", he said his voice showing gratitude
"don't acknowledge,it's just my duty",
Mew said and went back to scribbling

Gulf was slightly disappointed
Mew was not friendly to him at all.....

Mild went out to get Gulf some food
And both Mew and Gulf were left in dead silence. Gulf wanted to talk to Mew
But Mew never looked at Gulf
He kept scribbling on his notebook

Gulf slowly took note of Mew's figure
He was tall,almost as tall as him
His body was not overly muscular but he was built in lean and fit figure
His brownish hair fell to his nape giving him a boyish charm
His skin milky white compared to the chocolate skin of Gulf
Sharp nose,doe eyes,kissable lips,long lashes

His grey tee perfectly hugging his chest and biceps
His custom made black jeans showing his tones long legs

Gulf was almost in a dreamy state appreciating Mew's beauty
"Stop ogling", he heard the deep sound
He suddenly woke up from his dreamy state
"Uh?",he asked confused
"You were ogling my body,stop it ",
Mew said looking straight at Gulf
"I...I...", Gulf shutters not able to deny it right away
"I wasn't looking at you,I was just thinking",
He made up quickly
"Ah ha", Mew said clearly knowing everything
Gulf looked down

"How did you reach there that moment",Gulf finally mustered the courage and asked him
"Your last howl ",
Mew said going back to scribbling

A sudden wind made Gulf shiver,it was then he noticed that he was not wearing anything

"Hmmm....when did I shift back?".

"When you fell unconscious you shifted back immediately,
"I carried you here,
"That's it ",Mew said,clearly ending giving explanations

Gulf was analysing....
If he carried me back after I shifted Mew.....
Clearly saw me naked......

He face palmed in embarrassment
He never went shifting without an extra pair of clothing
But nothing helped in this situation
He clutched the bed sheet peeking at Mew through his lashes
His face and ears flushed red from the realisation.
Mew smirked without looking up from his book,
knowing that Gulf is embarrassed

Mew closed his journal and walked out as soon as mild returned
Gulf felt slightly sad that Mew was leaving.
He kept following Mew with his gaze until he disappeared along the trees outside.
"'You seem to be interested in him",Mild noted taking the seat beside Gulf's bed.
"What!!!!nooo yuck",
"He is so strange ",.
Gulf made a observation on Mew

"Umm......",
"Ya ,Mew is not the one to get close to anybody  other than his sister and a few friends ",

"Sister?",

"Yup,Amelia the gate keeper ,they are siblings

"She healed you after Mew carried you back",

"They are siblings so....You mean she can't heal Mew if he gets hurt ".

"Nope she can't".

"But don't worry, that's not gonna happen ".

"Why?",Gulf again asked like a little kid listening to a story

"Nobody messes with him",
"He is the strongest beta in the werewolf empire that's why",
"Even ordinary Alphas are afraid to mess with him",Mild said in a proud tone

Gulf felt jealous he didn't know why but he felt slight pang in his heart
"Do you have..... A crush on him?",Gulf couldn't stop himself from asking

"What why would you ask that?",

"No you seem too interested of him that's why",

"Oh nono.....I don't have a crush,'No!",IAM just proud of my friend
Mild said suddenly turning shy
"Then some one else?",Gulf asked teasing Mild
"Hmmm... Ya some one else", Mild said
"Who tell me na", Gulf tried
"You are too nosy", Mild said stacking the spoon into Gulf's mouth
Gulf giggled and ate the porridge.
