Isaiah gets in the car and buckles the seat. I sneak a sideways glance at him before turning the engine over and pulling out. My CD player spurs to life shuffling on a Donna's track that my mother used to worship, being the feminist she was. Isaiah raises and eyebrow at me.
"What?" I say after the period of time that is socially acceptable to stare at someone comes and goes.
"The Donna's?... Really?" He asked, incredulously.
"Don't you fucking dare dis the Donna's" I say, pulling a scowl on to my face and turning back to the road.
He chuckles and my face turns hot with anger. I smack his arm before putting it back at ten and two. He rubs the spot i just hit. "Owwww, that hurt" he whimpers.
I nod and replace the scowl with a smirk. "Good, don't screw with my music choices"
"Noted" he mumbles before reaching for the volume button and turning it up.

I know, i know, it's short but i haven't had time to do anything else. I've had this one for quite some time, just haven't finalized it yet. SO hear you go.
