Seven would sit and wait here just in case the mystery boy would pop up.

He would only appear though when food was promised. He crept out and looked for danger before limping over to whatever was thrown for him.

It was always the same boy. Mono didn't know his name and didn't think he could trust him, so he simply thanked him each time and scurried back to his hiding place.

This went on for only a few days each day Mono would wake up slower and slower than usual... then all of a sudden, he just didn't appear at all.

Seven called out to him hoping he would appear like he usually did, but of course he didn't.

Feeling an uneasy feeling settle in his stomach he decided to go over and help him.

"Eight! I need you!" Seven called.

Eight ran up to him shortly after. "Yeah? Whatcha need Seven?"

I need to get up there." Seven pointed to the small vent hole on the wall.

"You're trying to get to him, aren't you?" Eight pried.

"Yes I am. He could be even more hurt than he is now!" Seven said dragging her over to the seesaw.

"And if he isn't there..? You would have to wait for a while to be let out." Eight said standing on the seesaw.

"That's a risk I'm willing to take." Seven said seriously.

Seven landed safely on top of the dresser and ducked through the little hole. He jumped down and started looking around. He checked where he'd seen him hide away first and it was a lucky thing he paid attention.

Mono was curled up behind a box hidden in the corner, his hand protectively against his injured side, Seven noted his shallow breathing.

Seven poked his shoulder he let out a tired groan. "Six... please..."

Seven wondered who Six was but continued to try to wake the mystery person up. "I'm not Six. I don't even know who Six is."

Finally the mysterious person sat up quickly, although he seemed to regret his decision as soon as he made it. He brought his hand to his side again and his other hand to his head slightly lifting the bag over it.

He groaned and leaned against the wall, but kept his focus on the boy that woke him. "Who are you..?"

"I could ask the same thing." Seven returned. "But that's not important right now. You're injured and clearly... probably..? Dying."

Even with the bag on his head, Seven could tell he was surprised. "I have been more tired lately... and it has been getting hard to breathe..." He said slowly.

"Hm... clearly." Seven answered. "Here. This should help you get your strength back... if only a little."

Mono glanced at the tempting chunk of bread. "You're... not going to kill me are you..?"

"If I wanted you dead I would have let you starve the day I saw you." Seven shot back.

Mono's face was hidden, but his emotions weren't. He tensed and relaxed constantly like he were fighting with himself. Eventually he stopped entirely, but kept the defensive manner. Mono gently took the bread and laid it in his lap, he would wait till no one could see him... then he would eat.

Seven had explored around and noticed a roll of something in Mono's pocket. "May I?" Seven asked pointing to the roll of whatever in Mono's pocket. Mono nodded letting this mysterious boy get closed to him and search through his pockets. Once Seven was done, he'd managed to find a bunch of medical supplies that would most definitely help his injured patient.
