"Welcome to the InterContinental Hotel in Wellington New Zealand, Your room number is 2626, your floor number is 26, the elevator is right behind you, please let us know if you guys need anything" The lady at the front desks smiles and I hear her accent, I nod
"thank you" I give her a small smile and she notices my accent and smiles wider, I grab my suitcase that was resting next to me, I look at Harold and he walks to the elevator
we landed in New Zealand about 45 minutes ago, it took the our uber a little while to get us here because the airport very close to this hotel my father booked for us, I walk into the elevator and an older man and his wife come in as well, I shift closer to Harold and he presses our floor number, the man looks at Harold, "floor 24 please" he says and he pushes the button 24, the man slides closer to me and puts his stuff in front of him, his wife stands in front of him
he looks over to me and I don't do anything, he looks be up and down and winks and I gag, the mans wife looks at me and I cover it up with a cough, "sorry hairball" I smile and she looks at me confused, I look back at the man and I pull my knife from the pocket of Harolds black zip up I'm wearing, the man looks at me and his eyes widen, he shifts closer to his wife and I put the knife back into my pocket, we arrive at their floor and they get out, Harold looks at me and I tilt my head
"something wrong?" I ask him with a devilish grin and he smiles, "I saw that creep looking at you, I didn't like it" he says and I feel something in my body tug and I look up at him, "I didn't like it either that's why I showed him my knife" I show him what I did and the elevator dings, we pull our bags out from the elevator and we walk to the hallway on the right to find our room
Harold finds our room and he slides the room card over the sensor on the door and it turns green and I hear the door click to unlock, he opens the door and we are met with a huge room with black furniture, and a while bunch of glass windows, we see the city and all of the buildings I walk over to the window and I stare out into the world taking it in
