I feel you. I recently started dating my best friend.
And here's the thing. The rules with crushes stay the same no matter if you like girls guys guys or anything between. I tend not to tell my crushes I like them.
And if you do want to ask them out I suggest you do when you're ready. And if they ask if you're gay you can tell them your bi or that you like who you like and you like them.
