It was a long day of work, you're sitting on the couch reading a book. The door opens and you look up to see Masky coming in. Something seemed different about him. He wasn't his usual grumpy or sarcastic self but he seemed, genuinely, happy? He took off his gloves while going into the kitchen but then he noticed you staring at him.
"Heyya (Y/N), doing okay?"
You did a double take, even his voice sounded happy. Toby(who was sitting beside you) looked at him with shocked eyes. Masky took off his mask which confirmed your suspicions. He was SMILING. You and Toby's mouths dropped opened and Masky only shrugged it off, walking up the stairs with a new spring in his step. You and Toby looked at each other with shocked eyes.
