Lonely times

It had been a month since you started staying with the weasleys for a bit

It was a normal night when you heard mona start to cry

You got up tired and walked over to her crib and picked her up and brought her to lay with you

"Shhhhh its okay go back to sleep" you whispered

She ended up falling asleep you noticed she didnt like going to sleep alone

But now you could go back to sleep so you ended up staying up all night long

Your mind started to run thinking of remus, if he found someone else, if he even thinks about you anymore

You picked up mona and brought her downstairs and sat on the couch infront of the still roaring fireplace. Mona was still sleeping silently on your chest, you sat the silently just thinking about everything going on

Then you heard someone come down the stairs, they then sat next to you, you looked over and it was fred

"Hey what are you doing up" you asked worried if you woke him up

"I heard someone come downstairs and wanted to see if everything was okay" he said putting an arm around you

"So are you?" he asked

"What?"

"Are you okay?" he asked concerned

"Honestly no, im trying to be strong for mona but i know its not going to last much longer, im up every night getting no sleep and im just so tired of everything" you said then rest your head on his shoulder

The last part of your sentence made fred scared for your well being

"Rest now, get some sleep" fred said getting up to leave

"Wait can you stay i cant sleep with being held, i know its pathetic but i havent slept in so long" you said with pleading eyes

Fred smiled, he laid on the couch and opened his arms for you to lay down

You laid down with your back pressed firmly against his chest and mona curled up in your arms

"Thank you fred" you said falling asleep

"Of course" fred kissed the top of your head the fell asleep too

~Next morning~

You woke up in freds arms and smiled

"Hey freddie wake up" you said rolling over so you were face to face

Mona woke up and crawled ontop of fred pushing her little hand into his checks and she started giggling loudly

Fred finally woke up and smiled looking at mona

"Hey little one" he said tickling mona

You smiled genuinely for the first time in awhile watching fred and mona play

"Come on lets get some breakfast" he said 

You all got up and joined the others for breakfast

You were all having fun at the table when you heard a knock on the door

Molly got up and went to answer 

"Hey im glad you came" molly said

You looked up to see who was at the door

It was remus and you tensed up you looked away you didnt know what to do, then you felt a hand holding yours under thetable tightly

"Y/n can i talk to you for a moment" you heard remus ask

You got up and walked outside with him

You both sat on a bench that was outside

It was quiet for a bit

"how are you" he asked

You scoft 

"Are you kidding me, HOW AM I? I TOLD YOU WE LOVED YOU AND IT WAS FINE BUT YOU LEFT ANYWAYS DO YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH PAIN YOU PUT ME THROUGH, IVE HAD NO SLEEP BARELY EATEN SCARED THAT MONA WOULD HAVE TO GROW UP ALONE, AND YOURE ASKING ME HOW I AM?" you exploded and let everything off your chest

You calmed down a bit

"how could you am i not enough?" you sat sitting sadly on the bench

Everyone inside was listening now

Fred felt so bad for you

"Y/n i never wanted to leave you, i just never wanted to hurt you again" he said sadly

"well you did hurt me again in the worst way, you left me, you promised me you would never leave me" you said getting angry again

"Im sorry i realize now that i was wrong, i miss you so much, i thought of you and mona every single day im so sorry" he sasid crying

"You think you can just come back and get me back just like that, remus i dont think you realize how much you put me through, even if it was rough on you it was hell on me, i was thinking of ending it all and leaving mona with a healthy family so she wouldnt have to deal with a depressed mother and a father how abandoned her" you said loudly

Everyone in the house was shock

"Y/n im so sorry i....i didnt know this could hurt you so much i thought i was doing what was best for you and mona" he said going to hug you but you stepped back

"You are going to have to give me time im sorry" you said walking back into the house

You walked upstairs into the room you were staying in while arthur went outside to talk with remus while molly tended to mona

You sat on the bed and broke down you were shaking and having a panic attack

Fred ran in front of you and placed his hand your checks making you look at him

"Hey y/n calm down its okay, it will be okay im here for you, im here" he said trying to calm you down

You looked deep into his eyes and slowly calmed down

"It hurts" you said sadly while tears still rolled down your face

"I know, i know but it will be okay just calm down for now" he pulled you into a hug which you quickly responded to and hugged him tight

"Thank you"
