Chapter 12: Should I..?

Hinata stayed silent as he walked into Kageyama's house. He was moving to Tokyo...and when he had asked where..the news was no better. He was no where near Japan. Hinata wandered to the couch and sat down. "Why is this happening?" He covered his face with his hands. "I dunno.." Kageyama sat next to him. "Hinata, It'll be okay..I'll still visit. I get my license soon anyway." Kageyama tried to reassure Hinata. Hinata shook his head. "It won't be the same. I won't have you on our team, I won't have your sets to spike, I won't have you in general.." Hinata's voice was choked. 

Kageyama sighed. "I know..trust me..I was not happy when I found out either." Kageyama told him softly. Hinata leaned on Kageyama who put his arm around him. "We'll find a way. I promise."

Kageyama and Hinata made it to the school by 5:20am. Everyone was standing in line by the bus in numerical order, even though their jerseys weren't on. Hinata and Kageyama lined up quickly. "Alright. Everyone on the bus. We'll be leaving earlier than planned." Daichi told everyone. "Yessir!" They all said in sync and bowed, walking into the bus. Kageyama let Hinata have the window. "Thanks.." Hinata mumbled, sitting down and slumping. "How's your anxiety?" Kageyama asked. "Fine..We've been up against Nekoma before so..." Kageyama nodded. Nothing to worry about.

When they made it to Nekoma's school, everyone was awake and anxious to play.

"Alright! Let's get going!" Daichi called.

They were ahead by two. If they kept this up they would most likely win. "Hinata!" Kageyama called. Hinata nodded and juked out a block, zipping to the right. Kageyama set the ball perfectly as soon as Hinata jumped.

"Asahi!" Kageyama yelled. Triple block! Kageyama went stiff. Asahi let out a yell of triumph and slammed the ball through the block. Another point!

"YEAAAA!" The whole of Karasuno yelled. "We'll beat you next set." Kuroo shouted. Hinata looked worn out. "Oi, Boke." Kageyama walked up to him. "You fit for another set?" Hinata looked up at him. "Yea!" He smiled brightly. "Good." Kageyama eyed Hinata a moment longer. The smile looked forced. "Alright, let's start another set!"

Karasuno was in the lead again. By two, as usual. Nekoma was quite the team.
