chapter 7: texting

i feel like i have rushed this a lot so i will try and slow it down a bit i hope you have enjoyed the book so far!!:)

"i will not leave." Loki said sternly to you "so rest."

"i know." you smiled at him and shake your head no. He looked confused "why ever not," He asked.
"i need to do some things, carry watching the movie i will be right back."

you got up from the sofa and went to your room trying to find your phone. So much has happened in the past couple of days, finding out you're Tony Starks daughter and your powers, you just needed to text your friends to stay in the real world.

*text messages*

hey Lils what's up?

Nothing just meeting up with friends, gtg.

Oh ok, i almost forgot i won't be able to walk to school tomoz or ever :(

ok that's fine i was planning walking with the others.

ok see you in school!!

maybe. anyway gotta go

right ok.

*end of text messages*

you sigh and wonder what has happened with your best friend. you were confused but you didn't think much of it. you stuffed your phone in your pocket at walked over to loki.

"so antlers, since we are friends-" you start but rudely get interrupted by Loki "we are not friends, you are rather annoying." he says smirking at you

"rude." you but your hand on your chest and dramatically sighed. "anyway as i was saying until you rudely interrupted me, i was thinking-"

"oh no that is never good." Loki says, you rolled your eyes.

"wanna be snape has become sassy, i like that." you say and wink at him.

"how do you come up with so many nicknames?" he says sounding annoyed.

"it's a gift." you says smirking at him.

"HONEY IM HOME!" you hear Tony shout, you giggled at your dad as Steve,Clint, Thor and nat walked in

"Tin can, capsical, bird brain, shrek, barbie on steroids," you nod sounding serious. "i would give nat a nickname but dam she is scary." you say smiling at nat.

"i agree, last time i gave her one she loaded her gun and chased me around the tower." Tony says shivering.

"that was a fun day." Nat says smiling. You looked at nat and back at tony "alright anyway, how did it go?"

"just splendid," tony smiled. "why didn't you call us about reindeer games?!"

"why do you think he has done something he is actually pretty fun." you said getting a tad annoyed.

"somethings wrong with my kid." tony said sighing.

"ouch" you say dramatically putting your hand on your heart. You turn around and start talking to Loki "anyway I was thinking we should watch another movie but since they are back it is pointless." you say rolling your eyes.

"that is completely fine darling we can watch it another night." he looks at you and gives a small smile.

"hold on, hold on, hold on, have i missed something. did you just call my daughter darling?" Tony says. he looked at you then back at Loki.

"right i'm going to bed." you say whilst standing up and walking to your room, to avoid the awkwardness. "Night everyone!" you shout.

you flopped down on your bed, closing your eyes and started humming a tune. You always thought you made it up since you never heard it before.

you finished humming the tune and turned over on your side. Opening your eyes, you saw Loki looking at you with his eyes wide open and mouth hanging down.

You turned your head to the side confused and asked "Hey Loki you ok?"

No reply

you stood up and placed your hands on his shoulders, and you shook him hard. Gathering his senses, Loki shook his head and blinked a couple of times. "Where did you learn that," he mumbled. You took your hands of his shoulders, "I don't know i always thought i made it up why?" you ask. He clenched his jaw, he looked you into the eye to see if he could spot a lie nothing. You had been staring into each others eyes for a while now, Loki was the first to look away and he frowned "Loki what's wrong?"

He didn't respond

"Loki. What's. Wrong." you say. He shook his head and left the room, closing the door shut. You were left there, alone, confused. You turned and headed for the bathroom and started running a bath, this time humming to y/f/s (Your fav song). You added in bath salts and different oils to make it smell nice.

You stripped out of your clothes and stepped into the bath. You sank down and started playing with the bubbles, making a bubble beards.

You stayed relaxing until your fingers went all wrinkly, that's when you decided to get out. You put on some joggers and a pyjama top. "Y/n the others have ordered food would you be eating?" The AI asked. "Yes i will be down in a second." You replied.

You quickly tied your hair in a bun and chucked a jumper on. You ran down the stairs and saw everyone already digging into their food. You walked over to the group and  sat down next to loki, giving him a friendly smile.

He ignored it and carried on eating, you sighed.
"Lady y/n we will leave to Asgard tomorrow morning if that is okay with you, the others may come aswell, we can do it as a family trip." Thor said having a bright smile plastered on his face.

Everyone nodded in agreement to go. "What about reindeer games, does he have to come?" Tony asked, whining like a baby. You rolled your eyes "Of course he is coming right thor?" you said looking towards thor. "Yes he is however we will have to watch his every move."

Everyone finished eating, the others where exhausted from the mission, so they excused themselves. Whilst you sat on the sofa opposite Loki, he was reading a book and you were watching him. "What are you doing?" He asked sounding rather annoyed.
