WORTHY FORGIVING

It was dark, lights were out.
I heard the thunders, and rain poured out.
I stood near the window and saw,
A familiar shadow of someone I know.

Lightning struck out and i saw your face.
Wet, feeling cold, looks like you're in disgrace.
And then I remembered, we had a fight.
But letting you out there just can't be right.

I went down and open the door.
I went out and felt the coldness run down to my core.
You're shaking while saying,
That you are very sorry for everything.

For the first time, I saw you cried.
You can't clearly talk but you tried.
My heart felt the pain that you're feeling.
And now I know, that you are worthy forgiving.
