it's been at least a week since i've joined the dream smp. everyone is actually quite nice considering i just joined. i overheard dream saying he's adding some other people, they're due to join today, i might talk to them.

it's currently friday afternoon, just 5 minutes until school is dismissed. mr. brett is showing my videos on the visualiser, this couldn't get any worse. suddenly, i notice somebody staring at me, y/n. she had clearly noticed i was staring back and turned away. she's a nice girl but it's just awkward since we haven't talked in so long.

as i enter the door, the idea of more people in the server is making me slightly excited. new people equals new friends, at least hope.

y/n pov 

i run through the door and throw my bag onto the floor and run upstairs.

"shoes!"

"sorry!"

i throw my shoes down the stairs and continue running. today is the day i join the smp! I open my twitter dms and log onto minecraft. i start to slowly type in the ip address, making sure not to get anything wrong. after what felt like an eternity later, it was finally ready to join. i felt my stomach flutter as i press the join button. here we go-

wait

i haven't set my stream up yet!

after setting up my stream, im finally ready!

"hello chat!"

after talking to chat for awhile i finally decide to spill on what's going on.

"ok so, today i'm joining the dream smp!"

the chat is going so fast right now, it's almost unbelievable. 

*no this won't be realistic minecraft because i'm too lazy for that, maybe in a few chapters*

vc 2? i guess i'll join aswell. as i join vc 2 i hear a woman talking. not just any woman-

it can't be y/n! i don't think she even streams!

"so..how are you enjoying the smp?"

"i only just joined"

i hear muffled giggles through my headphones.

"who is your favourite woman?"

"erm..possibly my mum"

"your answer is wrong, the queen is superior"

the call went silent for a few seconds until tubbo spoke up.

"do you want any help with your house?"

"sure, i'll collect some wood"

"ok"

"i helped aswell, i deserve credit!"

"yeah sure"

y/n pov

once i finish up my stream i realise i'm still in the vc with tommy and tubbo.

"well i'm going to go!"

"oh ok cya"

"bye!"

it was me and tommy now.

"y/n why didn't you tell me you streamed?"

"i-"

"well-"

"y/n, why?"

"i thought you were gonna think i was copying you.."

"i wouldn't think that y/n"

"oh"

"well i'm gonna go"

"oh ok, cya"

i then leave the vc, wondering about the interaction i just had

this took me so long due to having to REWITE IT 3 TIMES. next chapter should be up by wednesday because i've got school tomorrow. this took me 3 days-
