Our streets look like scenes from comic books.
In a city swirled with chaos and confusion, a new profession dominated our collective consciousness.
It was an age of heroes.

Along with the quirks came a new sense, it's called 'soul connecting'.
When you become ten you start to be able to hear your soulmate sing, but if you're quirks, you don't get this special ability.
So when on Izuku's tenth birthday, he heard his soulmate sing he was confused because not only was he quirkless but his soulmate was bakugo!
The sad part is that bakugo hated midoriya. That's when Izuku realized, there is no such thing... as true love.
From that day forward Izuku locked his heart deep inside himself, knowing the one person who was made for him didn't want anything to do with him.
