Chapter 4 Miss Baja California Pageant

It was a few days later after the incident at Bullring Park, I woke up to Lino tapping my back with a gun
"get up" he demanded
I got up and walked and Lino followed behind me, we got to a path where you could see the house in the distance, i stopped walking and i had tears falling down my face, Lino walked past me and cocked his gun, thats when i thought i was going to die.

But when i opened my eyes he chuckled
"im going to teach you to use a gun, here is an arre an ar-15 rifle made in the USA"
I stared at the gun when he pulled out the magazine
"la bala, the bullet. Magazine, charging handle then safety off"
I did what he said but i missed the shot, he snatched the gun out of my hand
"keep both eyes open" he took a shot and didn't miss, he handed the gun back to me "try again"
This time i kept my eyes open and i was getting ready to shoot when his fingers moved my hair from my neck and he whispered in my ear
"empty it out chula"
I took a shot, i missed the first shot but got the rest.
"well done chula."
I just stood there in silence, proud of my self, i gave him back the gun and he grabbed hold of my hand and led me to his room.

We got to the doors of his room
"what about Suzu?"
"we will find your friend"
He led me inside his room and thats where i saw the lady again, the one from casa rosita
"Hola!" she exclaimed
"what is all this" i asked with confusion
"your going to be my queen, i am sending you to the Miss Baja California Pageant"
"no! i don't want to" i ran off but Lino caught up to me, he grabbed my wrist and pushed me onto a chair.
"look chula." he showed me his phone. It was Suzu.
"you are going to win the pageant to get your friend back. but i need you to get Saucedo alone in the bedroom"
"NO!" i shouted at him
"this is the only way to get your friend back chula"

A few hours passed by and i was getting ready to leave for the pageant. Lino came up behind me and put his arms around my waist and explained what the plan was.
"we bought the judges so you will win, when your name is announced look suprised and smile, a man will come up to you to invite you to Saucedos after party, just smile and accept"
I listened to what he told me. We got to the pageant and one of Linos men came with me.

After i won the contest Linos men who was with me came and gave me 2 boxes. The small box had an ear piece in and the bigger box had a gorgouse necklace and a note, the note said.
                                                            'good luck chula, wear this necklace with your dress
                                                             you can hear me guide you through this ear piece'

I put the ear piece in and listened to what Lino said, he went over the plan again and told me
"good luck chula, I love you" 
This was the first time he said that, i didn't reply back because i didn't know what to say. I arrived at the party and Lino told me to go and find Saucedo to invite me to his room so i did. Saucedos men guided me to a table and told me to wait and thats when i saw Suzu, i ran up to her crying with tears because i finally found her
"i finally found you!"
"i-i thought you were dead" Suzu stuttered "they made me do things i didn't want to do, they gave me this too"
It was the Los Estrellas mark on her hand
"Lino did this" i muttered to myself
One of Saucedos men came up to me and led me to Saucedos room.
"take off your dress, ill get drinks" he said in a firm voice
I didn't want to take my dress off, i wrote a note saying
                                                                                               'we have to leave, Lino is coming to kill you'
Saucedo came back and he read the note, he got his men and he ran out the door leaving me stood in the room, thats when Pollo started shooting towards the room and one of Saucedos men were shooting to. I got down under the bed and waited for the shooting to stop. It did. I got up and walked towards Pollo who was lying on the ground gasping for air
"help me" he said weakly. I looked at him and took the gun from his hands, there was shooting everywhere.
I went to find Suzu and i did, we walked to the front of the house and thats when Saucedo grabbed Suzu and pointed a gun towards Lino, i shot Saucedos leg and he fell to the ground, Lino walked over and shot Saucedo multiple times in the head, he looked up at me and thats when i pointed the gun towards him
"Suzu" i shouted
"s-see i told you we would find your friend" he stuttered
"show him your hand" Suzu lifted her shaking hand up and showed that tattoo of the Los Estrellas mark, Lino put his weapon down
"we both did what we had to chula"
"both eyes open" The police cars were coming behind Lino, i dropped the gun and Lino came towards me and grabbed my hand and took me to the car
"what about Suzu?!"
"the other car has her and taking her home"
I asked Lino why he never told me where Suzu was, he just ignored my question.
