I walked down the stairs from Blair's bedroom, officially ready for my date. Blair walked into the room and smiled at me. "So, what are your plans today?" Blair asked and I can tell by the tone what she is hinting at.

"Nothing, beyond having a second date with Cameron this afternoon and staying as far away as possible from the Empire State Building." I stated.

"What's the Empire State Building have to do with anything?" Eleanor asked, walking into the room with her coffee.

"An Affair to Remember was on TCM last night. It gave me nightmares." I said slightly under my breath as I walked away past Dorota.

"Lena loves the empire state building, even though she doesn't want to, and she should just admit it and make all our life easier." Blair stated and I turned around looking back at her.

"Lena loves nothing, except for shoes, clothes, and anything Harry Winston." I stated. Eleanor gave us a strange look before just shaking her head and walking away. I walked over to Blair with a glare. "Since it appears you have taken an interest in the deadline a certain Bass-hat set for me, I'm calling you into service."

Blair looked at me confused. "What do you expect me to do?"

"I'm ordering you to chaperone my date with Cameron. I need to make sure that no matter what happens, I don't go anywhere near that stupid art deco landmark."

"Lena, I unfriend Chuck on Facebook and in life. But this is a pretty romantic thing he's doing. I know how much you love him. If not going means not having Chuck in your life again, are you prepared to live like that?" Blair asked and I sighed.

"Yes. But even if I'm not, if you let me go anywhere near 34th street, there won't be a miracle but a massacre." I looked over at Dorota. "Your job is to make sure she does her job." I stated. "Now put on your walking shoes. We're going on a date!" I stated looking at both of them.

We were walking down the sidewalk when my phone went off. It was a Gossip Girl post of Serena and Dan sleeping in the same bed. Uh-oh. I stopped the party for a moment, calling Serena. Blair stood next to me close to my phone so she could hear. "I hope you're on your way to see Nate." I stated as soon as she answered.

"You saw the blast?" Serena asked.

Blair snatched my phone and I was the one listening. "Yes, we did, and although I'm inclined to say that Gossip Girl doesn't know what she's talking about, since she also posted some blurry photo of a Russian mail-order bride and said it was Georgina, that really did look like you and Humphrey. I mean, isn't that a little '08, like maxi dresses and Miley Cyrus?"

"Give me my phone back." I stated taking it back. "We all try on old clothes from time to time, and sure, we may even be surprised when they still fit, but that doesn't mean we should wear them again, ever."

"Nothing happened and as for the photo, it was obviously the work of Jenny Humphrey. I knew she hated me, but apparently, she hates Dan, too. I just wish she would hole up in Brooklyn and leave the rest of us alone."

I thought for a moment. I'm tired of her. She's getting on my nerves. "Brooklyn. Is that where she is right now?"

"I guess so. Look, I gotta go call Dan and make sure he knows what's going on. Bye." Serena hung up the phone and I looked over at Blair.

I turned around to see Cameron and Dorota looking at a paper with the Empire State building on the front page. "We have to get off this island." I stated trying to not make it completely obvious I was panicking a little. "Cameron, would you mind if we made a little detour?"

"How little?" Cameron asked and I smiled at him.

I made it to the Humphrey loft opening the door. I didn't need Blair for this. Best not to do this in front of someone else. Jenny walked into the kitchen and sighed when she saw me. "Lena. What are you doing here?" Jenny asked and I walked over to her.
