Double Dates Take 2

Too say I'm not excited about this date would be a complete lie. However I'm not excited for the reasons I probably should be. For example I should probably be excited about my actual date. In this case Annabelle. However I know for a fact the one of the main reasons for my excitement is the other persons date. Josephine. Maybe the food too.

I can't help but attempt to convince myself that she's going on a date with me tonight and Alex and Annabelle are together. I know she's said that shes not interested in Alex and she's told him that. But I know he's not going to give up without a fight. He's a billionaires son he's used to getting what he wants. And what he wants is Josephine. Join the club mate.

What went down in the shower gives me a slight glimmer of hope though. Surely she can't be swayed as easily as him flashing the cash. I mean she hasn't been before now. Especially given what we just done. In the shower. She doesn't strike me as a girl who just messes about with everyone. Even if I am.

As much as she thinks this is just me getting her out of my system with her so called friends with benefits apparently without the sex scenario. We shall see about that. As me and Alex sit in the lounge waiting for Jo to come through. He asks me about how Jo has been since she came home. Saying she didn't seem very enthusiastic about our double date. Just as my mind starts to reminisce on the shower sequence that unfolded just hours ago. My thoughts are interrupted by the door bell ringing. Ah problem number two. Annabelle.

He must sense my curiosity of his actions as he answers my non verbal question "just going to check on jo, give you and Annabelle some alone time" he winks suggestively.
