"You said you would wait for me!" Remus complained, covered in sweat from running in the hot summer sun, jogging to catch up with his brother as they approached the gates of the castle, both slowing to a walk.

"Its not my fault you're slow," Roman hummed, glancing up at the gaurds and waving, the gates opening to reveal their home, the castle.

Roman and Remus both went on morning runs, a way to stay fit and a brotherly activity fot the both.

The gates open to a neatly trimmed garden of grass, flanked by uniform flower bushes. A fountain stands near the right edge of the garden, spouting water high up into the air. The flowers and plants are pretty much well attended and hugged by bigger plans; they're full of hidden potential. The flower bushes reach 4ft high, but will reach far higher if they're allowed to.

A couple of messages carved on stones by the people of the kingdom are spread around the garden, leading people through the garden, and making sure all the best spots are marked. Vines and grass try to claim every party of the garden as their own with every chance they get, held back only by sheers, trimmers, and mowers.

The fountain is for all intents and purposes the center piece of this garden, and therefore the most appealing part. The flowers and plants certainly attract attention too, and the flower bushes are nothing to sneeze at, but the rest will just always be eclipsed by the fountain, as it is the fountain that marks the marriage of King Thomas and Nico, a wedding gift and a mark of their happiness, behind the garden was a huge gate with hefty metal doors, a regular bridge and archer holes guards, a second protection that the twins once again opened with a wave, refealing the goregous castle.

Fourteen broad, square towers reach twice the height of the huge gate in and are connected by towering, heavy walls made of dark brown stone.

Ornate windows are scattered here and there across the walls in a seemingly random pattern, along with holes of various sizes for archers and artillery.

The twins head inside and race up the stairs, both eager to get to the dining hall for breakfast, both sitting at the table and waiting patiently for the kings.

Or, at least, they pretend to be patient, whenever their sure nobodys looking their fighting with forks, Remus manages to get the prongs of his fork around the neck of Romans, launching it from the princes hand and holding the fork to his neck. "You surrender?"

"Fine," Roman went to retreive his fork as the kings walked in, "Ah, fathers," Roman went to bow, purely from respect as he grabbed the fork off the ground. "Good morning,"

"Morning, Roman, Remus," Thomas nods at them both with the soft caring grin of a father.

They all sit and breakfast is brought out, all eager to enjoy their meal, after a few bites Roman makes conversation. "Anything I can help with today, father?" Eager to shadow the king, as the job was soon to be his.

"Well, their are some princess' making their way to the castle, all eager for your hand," Thomas hummed.

"Yeah, don't you wanna marry a pretty lady?" Remus teased, loving the uncomfortable shuffle from Roman, he was eager to make Roman hate this, but a part of him wished Roman would just accept his gayness already, instead of making such a big deal out of it.

"I- I thought we agreed that marriage could wait till I had taken the throne?" Roman muttered.

"Of course, but..." Thomas sighed, glancing at Nico, who put his fork down and spoke.

"Roman, we worry about you? you're always working or looking for something to do, a friend or a lover would do you some good," Nico smiled softly, Roman only nodding to spare his fathers the worry.

"Until then, Janus has requested your help," Thomas stood as his plate was picked up.

Janus, was the master sorcer, Thomas' advisor in some ways, a close friend to Roman and Remus, but only ever an employee to Thomas (most likely due to the fact that Thomas suspected a relationship between Remus and Janus, which was untrue)

"Ooo, can I help Janny too?" Remus smiled.

"Actually," Nico perked up, "I needed your help,"

With everybody given a job, breakfast was finished and Roman headed down into the dungon. Cold stone walls and a big heavy wooden door, locked  and impossible to pass without permission (due to magic) Roman entered with no issues.

Inside, it was quite cozy and neat, a fireplace and bookshelves, off to the left was living quarters for Janus and his assitiant and to the right was a storage of potions and ingredients. Currently, Janus was leaning over the fire, stirring something in the pot, a yellow light leaving his hand, while his assitant, a small thing named Logan , was standing at the bottom of a bookshelf, a blue aura leaving his hand and wrapping around books, putting them on higher shelfs.

"Ah, Prince Roman," Janus greeted with a purr. "I was looking for you,"

 "I was looking for you,"
