We weren't well trained witches but we were getting stronger the more we practiced. I was getting better at magic and so was Alyson. Nicolletta had no one else to ask for help, her brothers were busy hunting down Veyron so we agreed to help her track down Cole. We were going to use a tracking spell like the one we used to find Ava but with his hair instead of blood. I didn't even want to ask Nicolletta where she got his hair from, I don't think I'd want to know the answer. Glancing up from my phone, I walked over to the couch where Ava sat drawing in her book quietly. We asked her earlier if she wanted to stay with the Lycans or us and she actually chose us. She wanted to grow up normally, I don't think that's a possibility but it was her decision to forget that her blood was powerful.

The sound of the lock clicking caught my attention and I turned towards the door as Alyson walked in carrying a mixer for the spell. She peers up at me curiously as I stomped my feet impatiently on the floor, waiting for my phone to ring. Cassie should of called by now with news of Elena, we've been searching for her since she ran out of my house screaming in pain. A part of me wanted to believe it was just a normal headache but who am I kidding when is anything ever normal with us. I don't know what I did, is it because she saw Xander. I don't want to even think about the worst case scenario right now. We need some sort of fail safe spell if anything ever happened, that wiped her memory again if we ever needed to. I know it's wrong for us to do that to her, her parents would have to agree and I'm more than a hundred percent sure that Steve and Eudora would do anything to save her.

On a worse note, Taylor found out who the new Lycan is. Dylann, that weird but handsome kid in our English class. I knew something was weird about him, maybe it's a witch thing. But how is it even possible for another Lycan hybrid to exist in the world, I thought Xander and his family were the only ones. Vampires can't produce except for Imelda Voldemort, the Lycan mother. The way he explained it she'd not want to have anymore Lycan children so where did Dylann get his abilities and how does this change things. I was pulled out of my worries when Alyson threw something at my head and I reflexively caught it to my surprise. I looked down at the teddy bear tight in my grasp and glared at Alyson who smiled sweetly. "Nicole is on here way up here so let's start the spell" Alyson said as she got down on her knees, using the white chalk to draw the pentagram. Ava hurried out of the room, the sound of her shoes tapping against the wooden floor. I crouched down to my knees as Alyson lit the single candle and placed it in the middle of the circle.

I glanced at Alyson's hand outstretched to me, lifting my hand from my side and placed it in hers as she began to chant the incantation. A shock of electricity shot up my arm as a visible streak of blue filled my veins. I looked down at it with wide eyes as it happened to my other hand, it's the first anything like this ever happened. Alyson didn't seem to notice that her hand was also filling with this weird magic and continued to chant. I felt my eyes roll back as my head titled forward, dropping on my shoulder like dead weight. I slowly started to drift out of my own existence as a voice echoed through my head. I found myself falling into another reality where I could see just about everything. Images floated around in my head, a reflection of a dark shadow flickered on an old house fenced by trees in the woods.

Suddenly the shadow bolted at me and I was yanked from that place and pulled back to reality. I jolted awake, gasping for air that seemed to leave me body as I placed a hand over my racing heart. Alyson gazed at me with a terrified look, breathing harshly like she was just scared out of her mind. "Did you see all that too?" I ask Alyson, drawing closer to her as she nodded frantically. I expected a blood trail on a map like before, not to be attacked by a freaking shadow creature, thing. I jumped in shock, screaming as a hand grabbed my shoulder, throwing my hand back at whatever caught me. "Don't just stroll up on someone like that" Nicolletta gave me a confused look as I sighed a breath of relief.
