3 laid her head in 8's lap.

"Hey, 8?"

"?" 8 asked.

"Can you sing me something..?" 3 asked.

8 smiled and put her phone down. She thought for a minute about what she should think, and then settled on a song.

"Alright. Here I go." 8 said, clearing her throat.

It seems unforgiving when a good thing ends~

But you and I will always be back then

"No. no no no no no. This can't be-" 3 said, running into her apartment. In the middle of the floor, 8 lay, bleeding. Her eyes were closed.

3 ran over to 8.

"8! PLEASE! WAKE UP!" 3 said, tears forming in her eyes.

8's eyes fluttered open.

"Ah, 3..." 8 said, softly.

"8! WHAT HAPPENED!" 3 said, tears beginning to fall.

"Some guy...he broke in...I tried to..." 8 said. "I'm so sleepy, 3."

"You cant go to sleep, please don't go to sleep. Just, hold on. Please." 3 said. She unlocked her phone, and called the ambulance. 3 waited with 8.

"3..." 8 said. "Will you sing with me...one last time?"

"You're not gonna die. You ca-" 3 began, crying.

"Please..." 8 said.

"..." 3 said. "S-Sure."

"You and I-" 3 continued, realizing 8 had stopped singing. She looked down.

"8! 8 PLEASE! DON'T DIE ON ME! PLEASE!" 3 shook 8, but got no response. As the paramedics burst in, 3 sobbed. They took 8 away.

3 stared down at 8's grave. It had been 4 years. She silently placed a magenta bouquet down. 8's last words rung through her head. She headed home. She wrote a quiet note, and left it on hue kitchen counter.

4 opened the door to 3's apartment.

"3? Are you home?"

4 walked into 3's apartment, seeing the note. She picked it up and read it. Her eyes flew open. she dropped the note, and bolted towards 3's room. 

"3 DON'T YOU-"

4 was too late.
