Why Not Try Poetry?

The computer and phone addicted youth

That's how we're seen

Watching for hours on end

Looking at a screen

But what you may think

Is not always what it seems

The new technology is used to keep in touch

So we can connect with people faraway more than twice as much

We also have higher technology and more information for learning

So why is it seen that we're not discerning?

The games and social media

Brings about the biggest encyclopedia

Full of information and activities

Available for almost everyone to use

But yet, we can't seem to have the 'right kind of fun'

The most diverse generation is what we are

Trying to spread self-love and peace

We embrace the differences of everyone

And help them to see their individual beauty

Including you

The grudge may still be held

But please don't feel compelled

As Billy Joel said

"We didn't start the fire"
