Y/N's POV
I was watching the race that Langa and Joe were in and this time they were definitely going at each other's heads. Right now Joe was ahead but Langa is catching up with immense speed.
I looked over at Reki and saw he was looking at the big screen intensely.
'Hm, maybe I should tease him a bit'
"Ohh, Reki you look like you want to be apart of the tournament." I teased
"Huh- What are you talking about." he stuttered out
I chuckled and looked back up on the big screen and looked to see Joe using his Power Break. his power break had always been very intense. I am hoping Langa can catch up.
"No matter how many times I tell him, he makes wasteful movements" Cherry stated
Shadow replied, "You think so?"
"His entry angle is too weak, too. If he entered st 25 degrees, he could have exited 0.3 seconds faster" Cherry explained
'Of course, he would explain it. He has literally tutored me as a kid. That was the first I have heard Cherry get so frustrated at me.'
"And his upper body tilt is weak." he continued
He kept on explaining and of course, we got tired of it and sighed.
"If you don't compete well here, you won't be able to win against Adam." he finished
I went back to Reki's side to hear people talking about Langa is never going to catch up to Joe. I sighed and sat next to Reki.
"Don't listen to them and smile for me, please I have missed it a lot," I asked him
He just looked at me and gave me a forced smile. I sighed again and covered his head with his hoodie.
"Your obviously not giving me a real smile," I told him
The guys talking about the way Langa's skate made Reki yell.
"Hey! What do you know about him? His air is so high and beautiful it's just like a snow flurry. I've watched this whole time. His effort...His sense. Just how much he loves skating." he yelled
"You cheering for snow?" one of the guys said
They didn't notice me.
"Then let's make a bet. We're gonna bet on Joe." the other guy said
"Oh, really. I am not making any bets but let's see what happens." I stated
One of the other guys said
"Come on. I thought he pulled away from the corner"
They were watching the screen and we pulled to the front to watch it. It looks like Langa already caught up with Joe. To what I thought was hope was now a fluke. Joe used his bulky body to give him more speed.
'Looks like Langa is not going to catch up'
In fact, instead of going faster, Langa slowed down. Joe had just passed in front of us and that really showed his speed.
'It's cause his heart isn't beating come on Langa'
When Langa came to be seen in front of us he was moving slowly and I bet Reki is the only one that can fix this. I pushed Reki in front and pulled his hoodie down.
"LANGA!" both Reki and I yelled
This worked and made him go even faster. I looked back to the screen and saw him placing his hand in his heart.
'We did it'
I hugged a stunned Reki and cheered.
"WOOOO GO LANGA!" I yelled
He took a really huge and risky shortcut and made it till he was able to really catch up to Joe and I kept on cheering. Next thing I know I see Joe making his own shortcut and also using his leg strength to move steel.
I looked over at the screen to see Langa using that to his own advantage and making it a way for him to go faster. The race is getting really close neck to neck and I am hoping everything but it looks like Langa passed the line and that means he won.
I looked over at Adam and saw his smirk and that means he probably just thought of something very very weird. I ran up to Langa and Joe and saw that his board broke.
'looks like we are going to need to fix this'
"It's okay, Langa. Reki and I will fix it" I smiled
"I'll be all right if it's you three," Joe said
We ran back to Reki and only to see him in tears again and that broke my heart. I watched him run away.
'Reki'

The next round looks like Cherry is going against Adam. This is going to get really messy from this point on. I left Langa to himself and went to the big screen to go watch the race between Adam and Cherry.
When the race began they were on par with each other and they were going at the same level. It looks like Adam is already using the Love Hug this early. I looked behind me to see Langa looking for Reki. I joined him. I looked at my phone to watch the race.
Cherry using Carla made sure he had dodged the Love Hug. I looked around for Reki and still no sight of him. Looks like Cherry is pulling ahead.
"Reki!" We yelled
I looked down at my phone to see Adam backing down and I stopped.
'This wasn't how Ainosuke was. He has changed...a lot'
"Huh...Y/N?" Langa questioned
"Oh nothing" I replied looking up and running with him again.
I heard everyone yell and looked at the screen to see Adam slapped Cherry with his skateboard. This made my eyes widen.
"What! CHERRY!" I yelled
'Adam! You won't get away with this.'
"Come on Langa Let's look for Reki," I said pulling on his arm
"Oh...okay," he said
