CORALINE LOUISE WELL'S thoughts were a complex mind map, a complicated code, a labyrinth if you will. she sprouted facts, little titbits of information as a floundering way of avoiding the world. she didn't cause trouble, she wasn't outspoken (when she wanted to be) and she didn't go looking for trouble, it rarely found her after all.
coraline was quite the opposite of percy jackson, he was the one with a star studded name after all. he had three quests under his celestial bronze belt, he had all the glory. but he also had a heavy prophecy weighing over his head. naturally, these two were as far apart in a social sense as two people could be.
but the fates work in strange ways, pushing a daughter of a siren and the son of poseidon onto the same path. she never expected to go on a quest with him, especially to the one place her parent's powers didn't apply. you could definitely say she wasn't much of an extrovert, friends weren't really her fort. unless you count marley ravani, a few nymphs and her half siblings on her dads side.
coraline wells wasn't experienced in her powers, or even her emotions. yet, for some reason she was still on a quest, figuring out her own hybrid heritage in a place made up of nothing but nightmares and darkness. her maze of muddled thoughts wasn't the only prison she was stuck in now, the labyrinth was vast and cruel. but the trials ahead were nothing compared to the strange feelings percy jackson's smile gave her.
