Me, Rosé and Jisoo stayed in the living room while Mr. Kim and Jane went to the kitchen to talk privately.

Jisoo has been walking front and backwards since earlier. I can sense she's also serious.

"I'm sorry" I said, Jisoo looked at me and shook her head.

"Don't blame yourself, this is not your fault" She said and patted my shoulder.

"She's right Laine" Rosé said this time and i smiled at her.

I'm so worried, what will happen to us now?

I suddenly heard footsteps coming towards here.

"Dad! No please" I heard Jane saying, but Mr. Kim wasn't saying anything

Instead he glared at me, that's why i stood up.

He walked closer to me, so Jisoo blocked his way to me, and Jane held his hand.

"Uncle.." Jisoo whispered, but still Mr. Kim isn't saying anything.

"Jisoo move away." That's the first thing Mr. Kim said.

"But uncle-" Her words were cutted off by Mr. Kim when he shouted.

"I said move away!" Assuming Jisoo got scared, because i saw her jump a bit, but she did move away, obeying her uncle's order.

"Dad don't hurt her please.." I heard Jane saying again, i saw fear and sadness in her eyes.

I look back at Mr. Kim and he's still glaring at me.

When he suddenly slapped me so hard. My cheeks hurt so bad.

"Dad!"

"Uncle!"

"Laine!"

Jisoo and Jane held Mr. Kim and dragged him away from me, while Rosé held my shoulders.

"Out of all people why is my daughter dating you" He said as soon as he got away of Jane and Jisoo's hold. "You're nothing, you're just a poor employee of mine." He said and that made me angry.

"Dad stop it." Jane said but Mr. Kim isn't paying any attention to her

"See yourself, look at the mirror, then look at Jane, you don't fit for each other." He said and i sighed deeply. "You just want our money don't you? Fine, I'll give you half our money just stay away from my daughter" Wow, i can't believe him.

"Sir, you can keep your money, you can even eat it for all i care. I'm dating your daughter because i love her, and not because i want your money" I fired back, i can see annoyance written on his face.

"Huh, love? You're both girls, you do know that's a sin, it's against God's rules!" He shouted and i shook my head in disbelief.

"Sir, there's nothing wrong with that kind of love, you're just homophobic" Rosé answered this time, i held my hand in front of her when i sense that she's going towards Mr. Kim.

"Be lucky Jisoo isn't my daughter" Mr. Kim said as she looked at Rosé then he looks at me afterwards "break up with Jane" I got shocked at what he said.

"Please stop!" Jane shouted but still, Mr. Kim ignored her, i can see Jane crying trying to stop her father

"Break up with her" Mr. Kim said again but i shook my head. "You don't want to mess with me kid, I'll fire you." He said threatening me.

"You can't do that sir." I said

"How are you sure about that?" 

"You're not even my boss" I can see his face tense up about what i said "have you forgotten that your daughter is the CEO now?" I asked and smirked.

"T-then.. Then I'll take it back! I'll take away her responsibility as CEO if you don't break up with her" Damn, this guy doesn't really want me huh.

"Then do it!" Jane shouted as she went in front of me.  "Take away my position as CEO just accept me and Laine, and don't fire her."

"Are you serious right now." Mr. Kim said while shaking his head in disbelief while looking at Jane.

Jisoo and Rosé on the other hand, are looking towards us with fear written on their face.

"Yes dad, I'm serious." Jane said, She and Mr. Kim had a stare off for about 10 seconds that's when Mr. Kim ran his hands through his hair and sighed.

"You're throwing away all my hardworks from training you? For what? For this bullshit you call love? All for her? All for a girl?!" He shouted, but Jane didn't say anything.

Mrs. Kim suddenly came out from a room and we all looked at her.

"What is going on here?" She asked while looking at Jane then turned her attention to Mr. Kim

Jisoo went to her side and whispered something so the two of them, including Rosé  walked away.

"I won't, and i would never accept you." Mr. Kim said while glaring at me so i glared back.

Then Jane came in between us, also glaring at her dad.

"Remember this day dad, Laine is fired and i quit being a CEO" She snapped and grab my hand, the two of us exited their house.
