We enter a dark room, with broken pieces all around it. Why is it so scary here?!
"I don't like this. I don't like this at all" Hermione started getting scared as me
"Where are we? A graveyard" Harry asked
"This is no graveyard. {sighs} It's a chessboard" Ron said making my eyes go wide. IM NOT GOOD AT CHESS!
We all then walks out onto the marble board and flames light, illuminating the board and GIANT players. Harry, Me and Hermione come up with him
"There's the door" Harry said looking at the door then me. What am i? The door?!
"No shit sherlock" i said sarcastically
We walk across the board, towards the door. Suddenly, as they reach a line of pawns, the pawns bring up their swords. All of us suddenly jump and back up.
"Now what do we do?" Hermione asked ron
"It's obvious, isn't it? We've got to play our way across the room. All right. Harry, you take the Bishop's square. Hermione, you'll be the Queen's side castle. And y/n you take the other knight. As for me, I'll be a knight" Ron instructs. Well he sounded very smart
All of us take our places
"What happens now?" Hermione asked
" Well, white moves first, and then...we play" Ron said
A pawn on the other side moves forward. Ron then studies the game
"Ron, you don't suppose this is going to be like...real wizard's chess, do you?" Hermione asked curiously
"You there! D-5!" Ron called
A black pawn moves forward, diagonal to the white pawn. The white pawn raises its swords and smashes the black one. All four of us jumped at the suprise
"Yes, Hermione, I think this is going to be exactly like wizard's chess!" Ron said
The game continues. Pieces smash each other, boom! Boom!
"Castle to E-4!" Smash!
" Pawn to C-3!" Smash! Boom!
The Queen turns, and smashes a piece! Harry, Ron and Hermione wince. The Queen turns again. Both Ron and Harry study the game
"Oh no" i mutter under my breath
"Wait a minute" harry finally said
"You understand right, Harry. Once I make my move, the Queen will take me...then you'll be free to check the King" Ron said to Harry
"No, Ron! No!" I yelled
"What is it?" Hermione asked obliviously
"He's going to sacrifice himself!" Harry answered
"No, Ron, you can't!" Hermione yells
Ron then closed his eyes
"There must be another way!" Hermione shoutes again
"Do you want to stop Snape or not? Harry, it's you that has to go on. I know it. Not me, not Hermione, not y/n. You" Ron said to harry
Oh god i cant watch
"Knight...to H-3." Ron ordered. Ron's horse moves forward, slides and stops. "Check"
The Queen turns and advances. Ron breathes faster, clutching the steel reins. The Queen stops. SMASH! Ron goes flying off the horse and lands on the floor, unconscious.
