❀Chapter 43: Hello again, mother❀

๑۞๑ ❀3rd Person POV❀ ๑۞๑

"Oh, it's so wonderful to see all four of you here to join me." Lilith said, guiding them into the living room. Tea was already for their arrival, but tea time won't be for long. Lilith has other plans, and she hopes it goes according to plan.

"I do hope you don't mind me having your grandchildren come along with me." Lilith shook her head, "Nonsense, I do adore my grandchildren. Damien does stick around with his grandfather so I do see he often around here."

Damien mostly spend his time with Lucifer rather than spending time with anyone else. Or he would spend his time with his father. It would be between those he would spend his time with the most. Neither less, Lilith was right about seeing Damien around the most.

"I do hope you all could stay for much longer than expected." Lilith mentions, "Oh! Do please have a seat." She gestures for them sit down, and they do so before she pours the tea. Thanking her, Lilith speaks first about why she asked for them.

"I would like to talk about Alina, your mother," Lilith looks towards (Y/N), "and your grandmother." She says looking towards her grandchildren. Melinoe rose a brow, Dorian gave a small smile, and Damien merely smiled as well. While (Y/N) looked surprised.

"My mother?" (Y/N) said quietly, "Why would you want to talk about my mother for?" Why speak of her after all these years? Was there more to her story or was there a way to see her again? "I know it would be a long time now, but I see as if you should know more about her, and where she is now."

Where she is now?

"Grandmother Lilith," Melinoe spoke up, "What are you trying to say? Our grandmother has been long gone. What could you possibly mean by 'Where she is now?'" Making a good reason that got (Y/N) thinking too, "I have to agree with Melinoe. Is there something that had happened?"

Lilith merely responded with, "Follow me down below all of you." Following her orders they followed her down below. Underneath their home was where Alina was kept. Her body wise, which never rotted away, but stayed as if she was still alive.

Taking time to reach down below, they arrived at the sight of her final resting place. "She has never decayed for as long as you lived, (Y/N). Sacrificing everything for you to live." A clear casket is where she laid and there they saw her.

"So this is her?" Melinoe said, gazing upon her, "She looks just like...." Dorian finished her words for her, "Just like mama..." Looking over towards his mother, "The resemblance was there." Lilith let step closer towards to see her closer. For so long she wanted to show (Y/N), but waited for the time.

"Oh mother... at least you are at ease now and no longer have to worry about anything in this cruel world." (Y/N) stares at her form, almost as if she was sleeping instead, but she was long gone. Damien looked his grandmother in the clear view casket, "Why reveal her to us now, Lilith? Is there a reason now?"

The first time Damien has called her by her name did surprise, but she found it understandable. "For now... it's time." Thé only words she said before everything went dark for them. Lilith would watch over them until they wake from seeing The Angel, herself.
