Training with a Carnivorous Plant

Boom Bloom contracted me to come to the Forest of Time for training, this forest holds many things from Skylands' past such as the Arkeyan Empire, the birth of the Swap Force, the time of the Ancients, and even events yet to be recorded or discovered. How these artifacts end up here is unknown, some believe the Forest is enchanted and will record every event in history itself while others believe someone older then time lives in the forest and is collecting them.

Either way, why Boom Bloom wanted to meet me here for training is odd to me, and since when did she want to train me in the first place?

"I see you've arrived, just as the forest said you would." A polite voice said, I look to see Boom Bloom standing on top of an Arkeyan Conquertron's severed head. "Ready for your first ever lesson from me?"

"I got one question, what's this training about? And why me?" I asked the mutant plant girl.

"The training has to do with events in the past, or maybe future?" Boom Bloom said as she scratched her chin, she then pointed to a wall with cave drawings of other female Skylanders and villains such as Stealth Elf, Roller Brawl, Dreamcatcher, Golden Queen, and even that Elf Girl from Gadfly Glades. Though, they all had a drawn on stomach with a stick-figure in them that oddly looked like me.

"These drawings clearly say you may or already had been swallowed whole by many different girls. And if we don't do something about it." Boom Bloom said as she pointed at a cave drawing of Dreamcatcher with the drawn-on stomach but this time it looked to be filled with stomach acid. "You may end up becoming food for someone. This training is to help you learn to survive and escape the stomach."

This obviously caught me off guard. If this wall was correct, I would be eaten by friends and foes alike. But what does she mean by that? As I was thinking this, she pulls out a shrinking potion.

"This potion will make you tiny." Boom Bloom said as she sets an alarm clock "Once you are, I will swallow you and you'll have to figure out how to escape or survive my stomach within one hour. Is that clear?"

This seems like some elaborate excuse so she can eat me, but it's either that or be digested by some other girl later on. I was about to say yes before realizing something.

"Wait, but you don't have a mouth, how are you going to eat me?" I asked

"Well, my mouth is where you humans would have a forehead." Boom Bloom said as the top of her opened to reveal a mouth. "See?"

"Well, then I guess I have no objections then, unfortunately." I said as I take the potion and drink it.

After I gulped down the bottle, I shrunk to bite size. Boom Bloom then kneeled down to pick me up and held me over her mouth by my shirt. Her mouth was lined with venus-flytrap teeth and a long, vine-like tongue that quickly wrapped around me and held me in mid-air.

"Ready to begin your training?" Boom Bloom asked despite her tongue wrapped around me.

"Ready." I said before her tongue lowered me into her mouth. Once I was completely inside, Boom Bloom closed her mouth back. The interior of her mouth was a mix of greens and reds and the entrance to her throat was below him, other then that it looked and acted like a normal mouth. The smell from her throat was alluring, potentially to lure Boom Bloom's prey inside. She didn't swallow immediately as her tongue wrapped around me more, I think she's enjoying my taste.

After a few minutes, Boom Bloom's finally decides it's time to swallow as her tongue loosens it's grip. This causes me to fall straight into her throat, I could feel her throat muscles(?) pull me down once my legs got caught. It didn't take long for her to swallow me completely. The trip to her stomach was calm and relaxing which made sense, the last thing a plant would want is their food to struggle and escape after all.

Eventually, I was dropped into her stomach with a wet 'splat!', the stomach immediately reacted to my arrival as the green walls started moving in and out. I could hear it making growling and gurgling noises all around me.

With a single 'Gulp!', Boom Bloom sent the Portal Master down to her tummy. She could feel them slide down her throat before settling in her belly. She wasn't above admitting they were delicious, no wonder those girls will want to eat them.

"Brp! Oh, Pardon me." Boom Bloom said as she sat down with her legs cross and closed her eyes. "Now for your training to begin."

(Portal Master pov)

I could hear Boom Bloom's words telling me the training has begun. Her Stomach was completely empty aside from a few sandwiches Boom Bloom swallowed whole as well, at the very least I will have a raft when the acids start pouring in. I assume I can't touch the acid or I fail the lesson.

I went up to the stomach wall and started kicking and punching, unsurprisingly, nothing happens. I then started using every element as possible from within the plant girl's stomach. Earth nearly worked but wasn't strong enough, Air only made her burp again, Water only made the stomach walls close in a little, not even Fire worked. At this point, the only way I'm getting out is through the way I came in.

I then had an idea, what if I combined Earth and Fire? Maybe with one punch of the two combined elements will do the trick, but I had to hurry as the acids were pouring in. I get onto the sandwich and summoned as much strength as I could. With one powerful punch, Boom Bloom's stomach reacted violently as it attempts to push me back out.

(Boom Bloom pov)

Boom Bloom was enjoying her little meal while meditating, she could feel the digestive process start. Of course, she wasn't about to actually digest a portal master, but it's fun to pretend.

Her peace was interrupted by a sharp pain in her belly, she was both mad and proud for the portal master. As she attempted to ease the pain, she felt something rush back up her throat. She couldn't help but cough as her body tries to eject the problem.

"Cough! Cough! Gagh!" Boom Bloom coughed out.

However, that last cough sent a tiny person flying straight out of Boom Blooms mouth and high up in the air. The Portal Master had escaped her stomach. They quickly use the Air Element to soften their fall.

"Well, it seems you know how to escape a stomach." Boom Bloom complemented as she gave them a growth potion. "We will try this again next time, to see if this was a fluke or not. I'm looking forward to it, personally~."
