Night fell over Dirdum Lane like a blanket in the sky. Edd looked up at the sky, the stars twinkling. He breathed a sigh of content. He looked over at Tom, who walked over to the fire pit and tossed some trash in it like old papers, cans and bottles. Matt came out and brought out the fire starter and squirted a good dose of liquid on the pile. Edd pulled a match from his pocket and walked over to the pile. A good swipe lit the match and he tossed it in the pile, setting it ablaze as the three men rested in the outdoor chairs.
