It was the Yule ball everyone had a date even me i was going with a Ravenclaw guy i was exited i put on a Beautiful silver dress and my hair was half up down and curly i had light makeup on and silver shoes i was ready but when i entered i say my date dancing with someone else but i decide to stay for support to Harry, Fluer, Victor, and Cedric i was sitting down on in a chair playing with my hands alone fighting the urge to get up and leave when someone started talking to me

"What's a pretty girl like you doing all alone" the boy asked sitting next to me

"My date ditched me" i told him looking at with a small kinda upset smile. But when i look at him i realize that it's one of the Weasley twins and I'm 80% sure it's George

"Oh god please don't prank me" i say while letting out a sigh

"No no don't worry i had no intention of doing so" he says while chuckling

"My names George if you couldn't tell which one i was" he says

"No i knew you where George" i said while giggling

"Really" he told me and perked up a bit

"I, good tell you didn't come up and immediately starts flirting with me" i tell him sarcastically

"Yup that sounds like Fred" he says while wiping his hands on his pants

"Umm, i actually came over here to ask if you wanted to dance with me" he says while looking down

"I would love to Weasley" i tell him he stands up in front of me and bends down like he's bowing and offers his hand while saying

"My i have this dance them m'lady"

"Of course" i tell him while taking his hand

We starts dancing we dance to everything we where one of the last people off the dance floor we laughed he told jokes and i almost died laughing

A slow song started playing and he took my waist at first i was a little shocked but started to relax in his touch as we swayed with the music i lean my head on his shoulder

"Thank you" i whisper

"For what darling" he says a bit confused

"For not making this night miserable" i told him

"Anytime love" he told me kinda hugging me

As the slow song ends he looks at me and says

"Why don't we leave" he didn't say it seductively he said it with warmth i said yes and he look me to the astronomy tower he started pointing out stars that he knew the name the of and all the stars he didn't know conveniently i knew so we would take turns pointing out stars and constellations

"You know i hadn't had this much fun hanging out with someone in a long time" he told me while looking up at the stars

"Really how about your siblings and Fred" i told him not believing what he was saying

"That's different i love hanging out with Fred and the others but sometimes i wanna hang out with someone who isn't family or lee" he told me know looking at me

"Well I'm glad i get to make you happy" i told him while laughing

"You know I've known you are for quit some time y/n" he told me

"I've known how you are to I'm mean who couldn't" i told him

"No i mean I've had my eye on you, I'm not much of that fond of person like Fred to walk up to a girl and start flirting with them it takes a lot of courage to do that for me" he explained

"I understand not everyone can do it i can't i hate being rejected, and plus I've definitely had my eye on you to" i told him now blushing

"Really because i really didn't think a smart pretty girl would go for someone like me" he says

"What do you mean i know many girls that would want you" i told him

We talk back a fourth about how him and me we didn't really know what to do we were almost positive we both just confessed each other but we didn't know what else to say

" i like you, like i like you" he told me blushing

" George i like like you to" i say

He gets really exited and tackles me in a hug we stay like this for a little while just enjoy sing it u till we both realized that he was almost completely on top of me

He gets of saying sorry and i say

"I liked it" while blushing and smiling

He asks me to be his girlfriend and i of course say yes and by the end of the night we are cuddling and laughing him not letting go of me and me not letting go of him we slept in the astronomy tower late night but we were a woken by an angry Snape telling us to get out so we both run away to the Gryffindor common room i hug him one last time before going to my dorm and him going to his.

"Best ball of my life" i say while sighing once i close the door
