Maybe sometime in the future (Sam and Colby)

"what are you doing here?" Sam says with a smile as they both pull away

"oh I made friends with Jake and he invited me here to meet you all" I smile at them both

"you know what I mean, what are you doing in LA" Sam says with a smile

"oh I'm taking care of my grandparents and helping them look after their house and things" I say with a forced smile

"but I thought your parents did that" Colby says with a confused look on his face

"Well I've just finished college so instead of going to get a job I thought that I would move over here and look after my grandparents and look for a job that way so that my parents don't have to keep taking time off of work" I lie because I don't know how to tell them that my parents are dead

"classic Lorna always looking out for other people" Sam says while turning to face everyone

"Well I've met Devyn and Corey and I obviously know you 2 and Jake so tell me who the others are" I smile using my teeth because that's just how happy Sam and Colby make me

"Well this here is Brennen and that's Katrina Sam's girlfriend and this is uncle Elton" Colby says pointing at a slightly older man walking through the door

"and you must be Lorna" Elton smiles

"yep that would be me" I let out a little laugh

After a few more minutes of catching up and getting to know the others we all decide to actually jump in the pool and have some fun laughbv and joking the whole time, I became really good friends with Kat and Devyn and I became closer with the other boys too and we all had a laugh. Eventually we all got cold and got out of the pool, got dressed and ordered food

"so tell me more about yourself Lorna" Corey says in a cheery tone

"Well I'm a small town girl from Kansas who has been friends with these 2 idiots since I was born and in college I studied law, psychology and criminology. However I decided to persue a career over here so that I can look after my grandparents and I'm 23" I smile as I'm telling them everything there is to really know about me obviously Sam and Colby know more

"wow so you're a smart girl huh?" Brennen asks in disbelief

"she always has been, shes the only reason Sam and I graduated high school" Colby laughs

"wow you really saved their butts then because now they aren't the smartest" Jake jokes which makes Sam throw a coushion at him

We talk a bit more and then I decide that I should go home because its getting late. Colby offered me a ride home and I couldn't refuse because it would make an even more awkward situation so I accepted. We didn't really speak much in the car to save either one of us saying something we would regret, when it came to me getting out of the car he grabbed my arm to stop me

"I've missed you Lorna" he says with a slight smile

Urgh that glisten in his blue eyes makes me weak, it always has done but I still can't shake the fact that they both blocked me on everything right when their career took off

"yeah well if you missed me that much you both wouldn't have blocked me on everything" I comment which makes him look to his lap

"tell your mom and dad that I said hi and that they should come over soon I'm sure Sam would like to see them again as much as I do" he says quietly

"they're really busy but sure I will tell them that, goodnight Brock" I say while getting out of the car and closing the door a tear rolling down my cheek as I walk away from him and to the house

What am I going to do? I can't let him and Sam both think that my parents are alive but that subject isn't something that I want to talk about because it hurts too much, Sam and Colby were like the children that my parents couldn't have because after my mom had me she couldn't have anymore children so when her best friends had Colby and Sam she treat them as her own and so did my dad, the same with their parents and me, so both of them will be distraught if I tell them. Sam and Colby's parents don't know about it either everything about the accident and my parents death was kept from everyone because they still don't know what caused it and if it was planned by someone. All I know is my parents died in some freak accident and now they will never become grandparents when I have kids and they won't see me get married and they will never see Sam and Colby ever again or my grandparents. I walk through the doors making sure my grandparents can't see that I've been crying and go in anc check on them to see them watching TV in the TV room, they both look up at me and smile, I smile back and then head to bed hoping and praying I can just fall asleep and not have to think about the fact I'm lying to 2 of my best friends about my parents being alive
