48. Sorry

Nicole was dressed and ready for the most magical date Avi promised to take her out on.  Specially since he was out of town for their 6 month anniversary and with all the other things going on it just kept getting postponed. 

But hey Avi promised that tonight was just going to be all about them to. Nicole waited at his place for him to come home. The hours ticked by and Nicole started to give up. She ordered pizza and changed out of her clothing into pjs and watched a movie alone.

"Hey baby" Avi walked into the apt. 

Nicole didnt say a word .. she got up and went into the kitchen to do the dishes

"Nicole?" Avi could tell she was mad

"What?" Nicole answered

"Whats going on" Avi followed her into the kitchen

"Nothing" Nicole turned around to face him then walked out of the kitchen

"Babe! I don’t understand what you are so mad about, just tell me!" Avi yelled across Kevin/Avis apartment.

"Out of all days to do this you had to choose this one? Out of the 365 days a year that you can go out and party with the band and all your friends until whatever time you choose tonight!” Nicole wouldnt look at him

"What is wrong with you, Nic?!? You never get mad when I go out with the band, I don’t get what has gotten into you!" Avi was frustrated 

"Well maybe you can stand there by the calendar for a few more hours until you figure it out!” Nicole retort and went into Avi's room closing the door

After a few minutes a dumbfounded and apologetic looking Avi slowly walks into the room.

“Baby I am so sorry, I don’t even know where to begin.” Avi walked towards Nicole.

Nicole back away from him, trying not to let him off the hook that easy.

"Well you could begin by explaining how you could possibly this big great magical date you said you were going to take me on" Nicole let out "the one that you said you were going to do even though I told it wasnt necessary..." 

"I’m so sorry, I got so caught up with tour talk and planning our next album I just…" Avi started 

"Forgot about your girlfriend ?" Nicole cut him off 

Avi just let her vent ... "I fucked up Nicole. Im sorry"

"I understand the band is important and I’m so happy you guys are taking off but does that mean forgetting about us?" Nicole lowered her voice.. shes never yelled at Avi before "Whatever, you can sleep on the couch tonight. Or better yet why don’t you go out a party with the band a bit more." 

As soon as she said it Nicole regretted it.. She knew she meant alot to him. He's proved it time and time again.  Avi walked out of the room and closed the door. Nicole started to cry as she held onto Avis ring that was hanging on her nextlace. 

Nicole new better then to go to bed mad at eachother. After what felt like hours, Nicole got out of bed hoping to find Avi still there. And there he was. Nicole smiled seeing him sprawled across the couch covered in a blanket. As sneakily as possible Nicole snuggle in with him on the couch. Avi moved maing room for Nicole. 

"I’m still extremely mad at you but I still love you and I miss your body," Nicole explain defensively.

Avi didn’t say a word wrapping the blanket tightly around the both of them, gently kissing her forehead "I'm sorry"  

"im sorry too. I didnt mean the stuff I said. I know im just as important as the band" Nicole was crying again

"babe. Im going to take you out and treat you the way you deserve" Avi kissed her

"Lets not make any plans. If and when it happens it will be just as magical and probably even better then if we planned it" Nicole pulled herself closer to Avi

"If you come any closer we are gonna fall off this sofa" Avi smirked

Nicole pressed her cheek against his chest and they both fell asleep
