I used to have a best friend
who was lovely and kind
But I've never even once
kept her in my mind
She was always so good to me
and was the cutest person
But I have never noticed her
while she had always a reason
She told me things every time
because I was important to her
But I have never really listened
until she was a little unsure
She gave me a chance indeed
that I couldn't believe
She loved me with all her heart
so I have told myself to now take part
As she saw me frequently
she didn't see the effort
because I really didn't do it
until she noticed...I took her for granted
