3: Chill Time

Your Perspective

"Haaah, morning (Y/N)." Hu Tao says sleepily whilst wrapping her arms around me. She must have heard me making stuff or smelt the food I made for both of us. Hu Tao slept over yesterday after our date so that’s why she's here.

"Good morning, joker." I said patting her on the head gently. I'm guessing she's still somewhat asleep as she smiled and groggily sat in the chair opposite of where I would sit, and began digging in. 

"Don't you have to be at the funeral parlor today?" I asked, and Hu Tao states that she's taking the day off to spend more time with me today.

"Is there something wrong with me spending the day with my favorite person in Tevyat?" She says sweetly. I couldn't help but smile and blush at her comment. 

"I suppose not. You're a favorite person too."

"Aw great, now you're making me blush too!"  She says embarrassedly whilst covering her face. I smiled and we dug in. Hu Tao's been rather tame with her pranks ever since what happened at the docks. She's also been more affectionate too. We finished up and Hu Tao asked if I could help with her hair and nails. I obliged, starting off with her hair.

"You know, (Y/N), you're probably the person who's the best at doing my hair. Xingqiu comes close but you just have a softer way of doing it." She admits. Whatever the hell that means. 

"Oh, that reminds me! I haven't played a prank on Him, Chongyun, Qiqi or Keqing lately . . . I should get to that!" She says triumphantly. ~Sigh~ Here we go again. I finished up and moved onto her nails. 

"So how’s the funeral parlor going for you?"

"It’s booooooring! Maybe if you came by more often when I was working, it'd be more fun." 

"Funeral homes are rather stuffy. I'd rather be outside. Plus I have a business of my own as a supplier of Rare Herbs to the Knights of Favonius and I grow tea." I say plainly as Hu Tao puts out her other hand for me to start working on.

"You're boring too then." She says jokingly.

"You mean responsible?" I retort. Hu Tao rolls her eyes in response. I finally finish and she thanks me by pulling me in for a kiss on the lips. 

"Yeah, whatever you call it." 

"Well, I'll take what I get," I say. Hu Tao rolls her eyes and offers for us to go cuddle for a bit to which I happily obliged.
