I rolled my eyes at my fiance.
"Weasley," I smirked.
"I require food at once, maid," he chuckled. I stuck my tongue out.
"Get your own, King,"
"Oh, I'm a king now?" he asked. I climbed into his lap and leant my head against his chest.
"You've always been my king, Charles," I muttered. He kissed my shoulder and ran his hand through my hair.
"Kings aren't complete without their queens," he whispered. I pressed my lips against his and he placed his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. It was a long moment, and I never wanted to end.
Except we had a six year old daughter. So of course it had to end.
"Mama, Tat-" Kaida fell silent and gazed at us both. I climbed off Charlie's lap and smiled at her.
"Hello, baby!"
I hoped she hadn't seen too much or wasn't going to question us. She glared at me.
"I'M THE ONLY GIRL ALLOWED TO SIT ON DADDY," she slapped my knee and then clambered onto him, cuddling him. I made eye contact with Charlie and mouthed the exact words Kaida had said and he rolled his eyes.
"Prove her wrong tonight," he mouthed back, placing his arms around our daughter and grinning at her.
"You're getting so big!"
