The Lost Boys and Nicole

Meeting Samuel

I stood on the board walk with my older brother and his ‘friends’ David, Paul and Dwayne.  David was talking about something while I just sat next to my brother Marko, he always had an eye on me because I near became a full vampire. I refused to have human blood. I look up when I see Paul laying on the ground then David, I giggled at the older boys’ misfortune.

I get scared and back away from the developing fight, I duck behind the ticket box. I watch as more of the ‘Surf Nazis’ come behind the boy called ‘Greg’ and who started the fight, that stupid boy. The rest of the lost boys come to ranks and get ready to protect themselves but was it was all stopped by a fat security guard. I huffed in annoyance as he stuck a nightstick on David’s ‘Adam’s apple’ “I you to stay off the boardwalk”

David and the fat man have a stare off until the vampire just smiles “come on, let’s pull”

I stroll over to Marko who smiles at me then turns his attention back to the group of surfers and 300 pound security guard. I watch as he sends the ‘Surf Nazis’ off the boardwalk and a smirk comes onto my face. They mumbled stuff as they leave, we got back to the ‘cave where’ we live. I looked for Star or Laddie, they were like me half vampire. I would rather hang out with them then my brother’s friends, of course I love my brother but not really his friends expect Paul. Paul usually looks out for me if Marko’s attention is turned somewhere else or he isn’t there at all. Those two boys are over protective.

 I found Laddie on his and Star’s bed playing with something, so I joined him, we played four about three hours before we went back to the boardwalk. Laddie and Star came with us this time and I hung out with Star. Her and Laddie are like the older siblings I will never have, being a vampire we never grow old. We go to this rock concert which has a guy in jeans, just jeans, playing a saxophone. Star goes onto this step thing with Laddie who join us about ten minutes ago, I run up and join them, I was dancing when I saw a handsome boy.

He has Blonde hair and is quite tall compared to me, but i'm the size of an eight year old, even if i'm eleven. "You know you could just talk to him" Star said from beside me, i then notice that I was staring.

"Well it looks like someone wants to talk to you, Star" I said pointing at the guy that was doing what i did just moments ago "I'm going to see the Frog brothers, don't tell my brother, Please"

"Sure, just go and have some fun" she said waving me off the to the comic book store. I sprinted to the store where i know Edgar and Alan will be. I walk into the almost empty expect The two 14 year old's and the older kids that are hoping for a chance to still some comic books, store. I walk straight over and talk to the boys

"Hey Ed and Al, watcha doin" I asked

"Oh hey, Nic, nothing just watching the store" Al replied

"Cool, um have you ever see a blonde boy that about my age"

"Um there's lots of blonde boys your age, Nic" Edgar said sarcastically

"No like in city clothes, not these weird things we call clothes"

"Nope" they looked past me "Is that him?" I turn around to see they were right. that same boy just walked into the store, i felt my cheeks heat up slightly as he came over near us

"Does our little Nicky have a crush" that made me look like a tomato, I turned with vampire speed and looked the boys in the eyes

"You say something about me liking him, i will personally suck your blood out" i looked at the terrified brothers "Got it?" they just nodded

"You can't put the Superman D.C. #3400 series the #500's ..... It's a different Artist" The boy said out of nowhere. Alan and Edgar just glare at him but then Al turns to Ed

"He's right" they start fixing their mistakes

"And these Archies should be over here with the Richie Rich's" the boy continues

"Where the hell are you from, Krypton?!" Edgar exclaimed

"Phoenix actually and these Bullwinkle and......" boy was cut off by Alan

"Just passing through Santa Carla?" He asked

  
"No, I'm a resident as of today and you'll probably be seeing a lot of me... I've been collecting comic books all my life... perhaps you'd like to see my collection?"

"If you're gonna live around here, then here's one you don't wanna be without" Edgar hands the comic 'Vampires everywhere'

'Thanks Ed' i thought to myself as they continued talking

"I don't like horror comics" The boy said

  
"This one could save your life" Alan said
