You work at the Springfield nuclear plant. Ever since, you've felt like your life has got easier. Your toxic boyfriend dumped you because he thought you were too ugly for his liking, which crushed your heart. Ever since he did, you fell into a deep depression. Every night you would cry yourself to sleep, thinking about him.
While things have gotten better when you moved to Springfield, you still felt sad when you saw a happy couple, reminded you of the one who hurt you the most. You gave up on trying to find love again, and just focused on your future. You got a job at the plant, thanks to a friend of yours named Waylon Smithers. He was a really caring guy, and quite awkward at times. He recommended you apply there since mr Burns, the man who owns the place, is looking for more employees. You didn't have any other ideas, so you applied, and you got the job.
You've actually grew fond of your boss. Yes he is pretty cruel to his employees, but he has a soft side to him, which you liked. What is this feeling? Is it.....love?? No! It can't be! Or can it?
Besides, only heaven knows how he sees you. He probably has a wife and kids. Why even bother?
"Y/n! Please come to my office!" Your snobby boss chimed on the speaker. You placed the papers you had in your hand down, and headed upstairs to his office. To be honest, you were kinda worried about why you were being called up. He never has before. What if was going to fire you?! Sweat poured down your forehead.
The doors open to reveal his huge office. He sat down in his chair, staring narrowly at you. You take a big gulp and slowly walk up to his desk.
"You uh wanted t-to s-s-see me sir??" You shudder. Mr Burns nodded his head as saying yes.
~MR BURNS'S POV~
I couldn't help but develop feelings for my newest employee, y/n. Everytime I'm around her, I feel fuzzy. Like she's the one for me. Now is my chance to tell her how I feel! Ok Monty! Be calm, and don't be weird.

You twiddle your thumbs around waiting to hear what he has to say. You could tell he looked nervous for some reason. He was sweating, he bit his lip, and his cheeks your cherry pink. "Well y/n...I called you up to tell you that...I love you..." he blushed. You felt your heart light up. He couldn't be serious! "Y-your joking, right?!" You said embarrassed. Mr Burns pulled you in by your shirt and his lips touched yours. It was nice.
"No love. I'm not."
