"Miss Dowling takes 30 minutes for lunch. Her assistant, Callum, gets 15" Riven explained to Beatrix who was looking at the books in Miss Dowling's office

"But he won't be a problem" Andromeda smirked

"Somebody's done this before" the air fairy turned to look at them

"That's why you came to me, right? A proper delinquent" Riven asked her pouring whiskey in a glass

"Hey! She said that to me too" Andromeda chuckled as she took the glass from Riven's hand and drank it herself

"You two seem to be" Beatrix answered

"Also, if you see a vape anywhere, Dowling took mine last year" the Specialist told Beatrix

"A vape?" the younger fairy asked him "Every time you seem cool, you say something that ruins it" she pointed out

"You're still looking for that? I stole it from Miss Dowling last year" the dark fairy said

"No way! You asshole" Riven glared at his friend

Andromeda stopped playing with Riven and started to look for answers for herself. She needed to know.

"What you two after, anyway? Test answers?" the Specialist asked the two girls while sitting casually on a chair

"Please. The tests they give now might as well be written in crayon" Beatrix scoffed making Andromeda chuckle "I'm looking for the shit they don't teach. The secrets. The history of this place is a lot darker than Dowling and the rest of the faculty
want us to know. I want that truth" the air fairy explained

"So, wait, you're like some hot, fucked-up history nerd?" Riven messed with her

"Why? Is that a confusing archetype for you?" Beatrix asked him back

"Not one bit, kinda used to it. Andy here is one too" the boy said looking at the fairy that was still looking through the shelves

"They won't let me use my powers to their full use" The girl replied "I want to alter reality, have control of my chaos magic and Miss Dowling won't let me" she explained

"Why don't you ask your parents? They're dark fairies too" Riven told her

"Training in chaos magic has been banned for centuries, the abilities it gives you can cause global destruction of the cosmos and so it was forbidden" Andromeda said "Darcy, my sister, is a witch so she didn't have access to it. I'm the only one that can now and I know there is a book somewhere about it and it's here, that's why I chose Alfea instead of Cloud Tower" she told them

"I knew you were deeper than you seemed" Beatrix smirked

"Please, I know you researched about me before coming here" Andromeda walked closer to the girl "Don't think I'm a fool" she whispered close to her face

"Hot" Riven commented as he watched Andromeda leave

It was late at night when Andromeda went back to Miss Dowling's office, she had found something earlier but didn't want Beatrix to know. She didn't trust her.

She went straight to the same shalve she had been expecting earlier and just by pulling a book a little bit backwards, the whole cupboard moved showing another one full of ancient looking books.
