It started with a sleepover

*Mari's POV*

I heard the knock again. I go up to the door that leads to my balcony and open it.

I'm sure you could probably guess. It's Chat Noir.
"Wow usually your here closer to midnight. Miss me that much kitty?" I giggle.

We're both standing on my balcony and then all of a sudden he falls onto me! "Kitty?" "Kitty what's wrong?!"

He's not answering me. I place him on the ground because I don't want him to fall and get hurt. I'm starting to get scared! "Kitty wake up! Please!" I try shaking him. I see his eyes open and he weakly wipes a tear off of my face. "Kitty what's wrong?!"

He groans but still says nothing.

I feel his forehead with my hand. He's burning up! I try my best to pick him up but he's just to heavy. I don't want to tell my mom that he is here. But I think I might have to.

I run downstairs.

"MOM!!"

"Sweetie wha-"
I cut her off and basically drag her up the stairs to my room.

"Sweetie what is going on!"

"It's Chat noir! H-he he came to my balcony and I opened the door and went up to talk to him and he like collapsed on me and he wouldn't wake up I yelled at him and shook him he finally woke up and then he just kinda fainted again! I put my hand on his forehead and he was burning up and I was trying to get him into my room but he's to heavy and I need your help." At this point I'm balling my eyes out.

"Oh my we need to get him in here quick."

My mom helps me get him onto my bed.

"Thank you mom."

"Of corse sweetie!" She kisses my forehead then leaves my room.

I see the worry on her face when she leaves.

I sit next to him and hold his hand. I feel him squeeze my hand. I hug him tightly.
"I was so worried kitty!"

"S-sorry M'Lady. I didn't mean to."

"What happened?"

"Well I don't want to give away too much about my personal life but my father said I could do something with my friends today. And then at dinner today he said he never said anything like that and he got super mad at me. He told me to leave his sight. I needed to get away from the house."
I see tears streaming down his face. He continued with his story.
" I-I just ran. Ran as far away as possible from that hell hole. And just let everything out all my feelings. And I was so exhausted I threw up and the only place I could think of coming was here. To you M'Lady"

I wiped the tears from his face and hugged him tightly. And he hugged me back.
"Oh kitty! I'm just so glad your ok!" I started to cry into his shoulder.

"Well are you feeling better kitty?"

"Now that your here of course I am."

I started blushing. He's so sweet even when he's sick.

"Do you want anything to eat or drink?"

"Can I have some water please?"

"Of course kitty. I'll be right back"

I go downstairs to get him a glass of water. Tiki flys out of my pocket.

"Do you happen to have any Camembert cheese?" Tiki asked.

"I might why?"

"Chat noirs Kwami eats Camembert to recharge."

"Ok but don't you think it will be a little suspicious that I bring him cheese out of no where?" I say questioningly

"Your right. Well if he does ask for some you can say you do!" She says.

"Ok. I better get him his glass of water."

I go back up into my room to give him the glass of water. I go up to my bed and see him asleep

"Aww sleepy kitty"

I put the glass of water down and feel his forehead. He's not as hot anymore. I'm tired as well so I change into my pajamas then go tuck him. I go to sleep on the couch in my room.

I had been asleep for a few hours when I wake up to go to the bathroom. But when I open my eyes I'm in my bed. 'Was it all just a bad dream?' I think to myself. I know that I didn't fall asleep here. I know I can't sleep walk. So..why am I up here now?

As I finish my thoughts I notice a hugging feeling around my waist. I look to see who it is that's hugging me and I see Chat. He looked so peaceful.

Chapter 7 is finished! Oh boy that was a lot to unpack for Mari!

Not exactly the longest chapter in the world but it's because I had a different ending planned and was starting chapter 8 when I started to wonder if this was really the way I wanted the story to go. I decided I didn't  want it to go that way so I ended this chapter with a cute lil sleepy Marichat moment ❤️
