One fine day,
A newspaper line captured my eye.
"Covid cases in India rising", it said.
I wondered, how would the year pass by?
It seemed like,
Everything turned upside down, in a just a moment.
The "King of Viruses" spreading its expanse
Was enough to lament.
Work for and from Home,
Online lectures, meetings became the new normal.
Technology brought out the ecstasy.
A year back all these things felt surreal.
The world witnessed,
A sudden pause, which gave lessons implied lifelong.
As and when, we're recovering from the setbacks,
With optimism and elation, Life goes on!
