Alex (Alexia) Thomas came to hawkins a year ago when will disappeared. Her mother used to work with the lab and Alex was used as a test subject from the moment she was born. They decided to shock her to the point where she would have powers but put her in modern society to see how it works out. She has the power of telekinesis( the ability to move thing with her mind),Pyrokinesis(the ability to create and control fire with her mind). The lab would use her to "deal with people". Since she has powers that do the most harm. Last year the lab made her go into the upside down to find out what the hell was in there since she was the only one who could go in and out without any harm being done to them. Last year her so called mother was killed by a demogorgon and she now lives with Evan Thomas (the abusive father)who used to be married to her mother. It's now been a year since Will went missing and school is starting up again.
