Chapter 40: Commando

My father came barging through the school doors, Veronica and mom followed close behind. He walked down the steps, stopping on the same exact one that I was on. Pea tightened his grip around my figure as Fangs slowly took a step further closer to me. Dad never turned his head to look at me, instead he glared straight ahead in the dark abyss.

"Andriette," his spoke harshly, "Get in the car."

"No," I stepped out of Sweet Pea's arms. "I'm staying with Pe-"

"Now Andy! You will not stay over at that scum's house. Unlike you, we have standards in this family," my father glared at Pea, "he does not meet them. Now get your butt in that car."

I swallowed the lump in my throat, and walked defeatingly towards the black limo. My family followed my trail as I got in the car.

When my family all got in the car, I looked back at Sweet Pea. My eyes were filled with sorrow, all I wanted was to be with him, in a safe environment because my home is everything except for safe. Pea may be in a gang, but he's kept me safe from everything, especially the Black Hood. Sweet Pea's face softened as he saw me wipe away a tear that was forming.

"Andy. Get in," my father yelled from inside the limo.

Sighing and taking one last glance at my real family, I got in the car and slammed the door.

"He won't treat you right Andy. He's the scum of the earth. A worthless piece of shit. He can't give you everything you want. And the fact that you've thrown everything away that your mother and I have done for you to be apart of some fucking street gang and date that fucker is sad. You're wasting your time with that lowlife," my father said as he drank the champagne in his glass that he poured.

Looking through the window, I got my last glance of the Serpents, "Then I guess that doesn't make you any different. Pea has given me love. A type of love that I never have felt before. You should be happy that I'm happy. With someone that has cared for me when you all haven't."

My mother placed a hand on mine, "Mija, your father doesn't mean that. Pea seems to make you happy and that's all we could ask fo-"

"Hermonie," my father shut my mom up, fear washed over her, "I don't care for him. He's has enemies mija. Some may even be planning their revenge on you. All I'm doing is looking out for my youngest daughter, something that all fathers do. But if you want to make me out as the bad guy Andy, then so be it."

I let out a shaky breath. How can he even know about Pea's enemies?

The following day at school, Pea was no where to be found all day. I would be utterly along if it wasn't for Kevin right now, "We haven't talked in like forever Andy. Serpent boy is always hogging you from me now a days."

I giggled at the boy that watched me put away all my books, "Kevin you haven't tried to make an effort to talk to me."

"Well for obvious reasons," his brow went high, "I don't know if you know this, but your boyfriend is intimidating and sexy as hell. He stares at me for one second and I'm already nervous as hell. The guy can just look at me and I'm pudding." He sighs in adoration, "I'm jealous of you."

"Why," I grabbed my hydro and took a sip.

Kevin let out another long and exaggerated sigh, "Because you have this hot as hell, basically a fucking Greek God as a boyfriend that will literally do anything for you just to see a smile on your face, while I'm over here still clinging to hope that Moose will come to his senses and be with me again, even if we weren't dating and just fuck buddies."

I glance at him, while turning my body towards him, "What's going on with that? You haven't told me much about Moose and you actually?"

"He's basically dating Midge now. Apparently, he told Midge about everything between us and she was.. opened minded to us all being together I guess."
