"Why the hell was that man, uh I can't recall his name , not present in the meeting ? " Jimin inquired his secretary .

"Sir , he said he couldn't attend the meeting due to some personal affairs." she replied .

"Then just tell him if he doesn't report me right now in my office,the deal is off ! "he calmly stated .

"But sir"as she started,he interrupted with a loud growl.

"Just tell him either come or forget about his collaboration ! "

"Ok sir" she responded flinching a bit at his tone.

"Mr. Lucas , I would like to inform you that if you couldn't come right now to the company , boss has ordered to cancel the deal." she informed Lucas .

"No no , I'm coming in half an hour."he hurriedly replied and disconnected the call .

"Arrghh!" he got enraged in frustration .

Y/n who was just sleeping beside him just shrieked in horror startled by his sudden outburst .

He just glared at her,blaming her for his loss .
As soon as he was going to reach her to inflict any harm on her, she just covered her face with her palms scared and trembling, just then his phone started ringing .
He just huffed in frustration and hurried to dress up and reach the  company before it's too late.

At Park Enterprises ,

"I am really sorry Mr. Park , I couldn't make it to today's meeting , but it was just that my wife's health was not good today so-..." but before Lucas could complete Jimin signalled him to stop.

"Look , Mr. Lucas ,I am genuinely not interested in your shitty personal life but if it interferes with my professional work ,I won't cut any slack."

"So just don't repeat this mistake in future or else"
It was more than clear to Lucas what he meant by it.

"No sir,it won't happen again."he assured.

"Then you can submit the presentation of your product now and I would take my decision and you would be informed by tomorrow."

But Lucas' lips were sealed . What could he tell him that because he hadn't brought the presentation with him .

"But si-" but before he could continue
Jimin calmly cleared himself "And if you can't submit the presentation right now then it's already over I guess".

But Lucas couldn't afford to upset the biggest enterpreneur , so he just assured him that he would quickly go and bring the presentation which obviously didn't satisfy Jimin.

He accepted his request but with his addition that he couldn't himself bring the presentation.
It has to be someone else.

By now, Lucas was freaking out because there was no one who could bring the file except his wife.

He took a deep breath and called Y/n directly asking her to bring his file from his study room to address he had sent.

She intently listened to his each and every word and just replied with an ok .

Here , she was panicking because the location was of his boss' company and it was understood that she had to hide her wounds and scars to make sure they are not visible.

She quickly dressed up in a full sleeved long dress letting her hair fall to hide any marks on her neck and hurried to the location .

As she reached there , she gulped at the feeling because this was one of the rare moment when she was out but alone without Lucas and his dominance. She wanted to feel this for a longer time but couldn't afford to get late after listening his serious tone.

She just reached the reception to ask for the direction  she was supposed to go. The receptionist humbly guided her to his cabin's door.

She ,who was completely unfamiliar with this atmosphere , just knocked on the door waiting for a response but on not getting any response from the other side ,she slowly opened the door to encounter the same man she had met in the party which made her even more insecure and also her husband .

She just kept her head down and bowed before Jimin but as she extended her arm to pass the file to Lucas , she was interrupted by a voice .

"Wait "
"Pass it to me" Jimin spoke with his eyes fixed on her.
For a moment , she was confused to whom she should pass the file but she quickly passed it to Jimin when she saw Lucas just motioning her to pass it to Jimin with his eyes .

Lucas quickly stood beside Y/n , his hand never leaving hers and asked for a leave to which Jimin just nodded with his sole concentration on inspecting the presentation.

Yet as Lucas was taking her out , Jimin saw how poorly she was walking as if she was hurt somewhere that was affecting her walk and her scared figure which was not at all comfortable around her own husband.

He could only say,
"Something is definitely wrong "
"Very wrong"
