Bidding farewell to the kids you and Odasaku then went back down, as the two of you heard a familiar voice from inside
"Hot! This is to hot, Oji-san, Did you put lava as the secret ingredient or something?" Dazai questioned the store owner
"Odasaku-chan, and Y/n-chan gets that all the time" the store keeper told Dazai as the both you you entered the store, While Dazai stared at the spoonful of curry as if it were from a different universe.
"How are the kids?" The store owner as as he turned to the two of you
"The same as usual" Odasaku answered
"Are those all the kids that lost their parents in the Ryuuzu Dispute two years ago?" Dazai asked as you took a seat beside him, While Oda walked over to the other seat by Dazai's right.
"You're Oda Sakunosuke. A member of the Mafia who never kills, you have no interest in moving up, and you take care od orphans. You sure are strange" Dazai spoke as he eyed the redhead who now sat beside him
"You're the strangest person in the Port Mafia." you added
"Not as strange as the two of you" Odasaku said as he took out a small envelope as he placed it on the counter top.
"Here are the living expenses for those kids for the time being."
"Are you sure? I don't mind pitching in..."
"I'm already greatful that you're giving them a place to stay. And as long as I get to eat the curry here whenever I want, I don't need anything else" Odasaku told the bald male.
"So hot... Hot... So hot..." Dazai complained as you then gave him a glass of water which he immediately took and drank in one go.
"I can help with the expenses too... With those two being M.I.A, all inheritance went to me, and Half of the Port Mafia's shares" you said as you looked at Odasaku.
"It's fine, no need. And You came here today concerning that thing, right?" Odasaku rejected your offer as he then eyed Dazai.
"Yes..." Dazai answered as he finished drinking the glass of water you gave him.
"I've come to the conclusion that they are an organization of gifted members from overseas. They were being chased by a gifted agency fron England called the order of the clock tower, and came scurrying from Europe to Japan..." Dazai informed the both of you.
"And what did those guys come all the way to Japan for?" Odasaku questioned
"They escaped to a foreign land... So maybe something was Already here..." You answered.
"That's possible... But there's one thing that bugs me about that" Odasaku agreed to your guess
"You want to say that the soldiers were fsr too skilled, right?" Dazai guessed
"Yeah."
"They're former soldiers... According to my information, the head of that organization uses a powerful gift to command veteran soldiers. " Dazai spoke
"Powerful gift? Does the boss know about this?" Odasaku asked as he looked at Dazai
"I reported it to him. Then he ordered me to cone up with an Anti-Mimic strategy and command the front. I already set up various traps." Dazai said as he slightly smirked
"I'm going to ask yoy something rather rudimentary, but if it's an international criminal organization woth gifted members, wouldn't this be a matter for the government agency?" Odasaku spoke as you boredly listened to them.
"Are you referring to the Ministry of Home Affairs' Supernatural Special Operations Division? They won't show up unless the situation is rather extreme. Because to the outside world, they don't technically don't even exist." Dazai answered
"And what about Ango?"
"It's been basically confirmed that Ango was the one who leaked the passcode on the storage unit. That's what I was informed this morning" you answered as no emotion was seen from your dull Sapphire eyes.
"Did Ango betray the organization?"
"Everything makes perfect sense if we believe that."
Silence then filled the atmosphere as it was soon cut by Dazai's phone ringing, which he took out and answered the call. . . . . . . .
"A mouse fell into one of my traps" Dazai said as he hanged up a phone a dark look graced his features only making you sigh as you turned and looked outside.
"So much for a day off" of course you knew that yoy have to be involved in the investigation.
Flashback ~~
"a new member?" You repeated as you stopped playing the piano, as you glanced to Mori
"We recruited a new member as intelligence officer. He started around a week ago" Mori said as you closed the Piano.
"And?"
"He's quite... How do I put this... Unique"
"Unique?"
"He makes a life record of those who died." He said
"Sound amusing to me" you said as he you turned to his direction
"Maybe I can ask him to make something for me" you said as you looked out the window.
"...hmm.... Neh Y/n-chan~ wanna go shopping with me and Elise-chan??"
"No" you bluntly answered as you stood up and walked passed him.
"Eh?!"
"I'm not gonna wear the clothes you pick out after all" you said as you opened the door
"Come on! We can buy you new sets of paint afterwards"
"I can buy them with Ane-san. And the life records that this newbie's making might be useful in the future." you told him as you closed the door shut.
