"Chongyun, Dear, do you need some water?"

Chongyun breathed out a hiss, his hand on his stomach as his face was burning in a crimson shade. "Don't tease me! Why did you think it was good to mix the Chili with in my soup?!"

Xingqiu merely broke into guffaws, placing a hand over his lips. "Its solely because it wasn't a good idea." Xingqiu grinned, as Chongyun continued to fumble around clumsily.

The two were just simply chatting with eachother at Xingqiu's home, unable to sleep even when the clock had striked one. Chongyun felt the need to eat something cold, and when he wasn't looking, Xingqiu had placed a certain spicy addition to his meal.

"Why is there no cold water?" Walking down the streets, they were heading to a nearby convenience store to buy a drink, since 'coincidentally', all the cold water were already finished.

"Perhaps you drank it all earlier this morning?" Xingqiu feigned to be oblivious, despite being aware that he hid the frosty water bottles. "I'm sure there were more though.." Sticking Chongyun's tongue out with tears prickling at his eyes—not because of sadness, because of the overwhelming flavoring burning at his tongue.

"Quickly! I'm close to fainting!" Chongyun grasped onto Xingqiu's wrist, dashing to the convenience store that was just insight.

"Wait hold on! Don't rush me!"

"Is this enough?" Xingqiu stared at the basket brimming with icu cold beverages and popsicles, as chips of different varieties for midnight snacks.

"Yes, I think so." Chongyun gulped on the unpaid refreshment, as Xingqiu silently screeched at the crime his boyfriend just committed. "Y-You weren't supposed to drink that!!" Snatching the flavored drink from his hands and discreetly placing back the lid on, he sighed, placing it inside the basket.

"But.. we're still paying for it anyways? Didn't you say that it was okay last time?" Chongyun faintly tilted his head, making Xingqiu chuckle softly. "I was only tricking you." Placing a soft peck on his lips, he gestured Chongyun to carry the basket and trail after him.

"..I should have known."

"Don't feel so down!"

As they approach the counter, they were not aware of the sleeping figure that laid their head on the counter.

"I'll pay." Chongyun offered, preparing to take out his wallet. "No, I was the one who placed the Chili, so I pay." Xingqiu booped his nose with a protest, as a frown formed on Chongyun's features.

"It's fine, I dragged you here, and it would be inproper of me to let you pay."

"I'm the rich one, so I'll pay!"

"No, its fine!"

"I was the one who pulled the prank, I should take responsibility,"

"But I was as rude as to haul you all the way here!"

"Can you both just pay already.. You're disrupting my sleep."

The duo's dispute momentarily ceased, as they turned to glimpse at the abrupt voice that dared to interfere.

drowsy pools of [c] stare back at them, peachy lips curved vaguely into a frown; as their bangs framed their face disorderly yet superbly. with cheeks as round and faintly pink as peaches, they were evidently flawless appearing, despite the unruly display.

"You look.."

The stranger hummed, raising a brow quizzically at the soft pause of their statements, urging them to continue.

"ethereal."
