Robert called Smith and discussed all the matter and why he was required.
Smith hesitated for sometime but after knowing the urgency agreed upon the request.
He started studying the case and tried finding a connection. He searched
Rose's apartment and found her personal diary . On reading the diary he realised that all the murders have a connection to it and Rose's involvment in solving the case cost her her life.
Her brother was also murdered and the police was not able to find a clue or lead so she decided to find out all by herself and now she is no more.
She talked about an old couple in her diary who lives near the woods.
Smith took the diary and kept it in his small briefcase and went to the murder location. He started searching
the murder location and everything seemed neatly done. There was nothing to have doubt on .
He understood the case was not that simple but has many layers that needed to be unfold.There are many things which are unknown . And after so many years Smith felt he really got a case diffcult to crack. This case was really challenging and he understood why Robert chosed him as an incharge of this case.
