Chapter 1 ~ The Twins ~

Ray and I are walking down the hall and suddenly we hear Emma's voice

"GOODMORNING RAY!! MORNING Y/N" we heard emma say

Ray and I looked at each other and started laughing

"what are you 5" ray said as we were bringing in the breakfast carts for mama

"I'm 11 just like you and Y/n" emma said as she put the younger kids down

Suddenly norman chimes in " Ray, Y/n... be nice to emma she's just being herself"

All the kids sat down, unlike other mornings norman switched spots with emma to sit next to me. While ray would rather glare he sat there and ate while mama was feeding connie.

"Remember everyone today Connie is getting adopted so make sure to come back into the house early after play time" Mama said as she let the kids under the age of 6 go outside.

The kids 6-12 went to the testing room and started the tested. Ofcourse like always Norman, Emma, Ray, and I finished early.

"Everyone stand up. The test is now over." Mom started looking through the scores "Like always Norman, Emma, and the twins got perfect scores" mama said with a smile.

"NORMAN!"  We all hear as don slammed his hands on his testing table "I CHALLENGE YOU TO A MATCH OF TAG!! AND THE TWINS HAVE TO PLAY TOO!!"  Ray and I looked at each other as we heard him say that. We didn't like playing tag. Thankfully mama came to our rescue

"The twins have chores today" mama said as Ray and I sighed in relief.

-- While doing chores --

"I feel bad for connie... And for everyone else.... don't you" I said while washing dishes with ray

"Yea but... We will escape soon as long our plan works tonight" ray said while putting away the final dish

We finished out chores and went outside to see mom carrying one of the kids.

"Y/n will you take connie and get her into her adoption uniform?" Mama had asked me.

"Yea should ray take the kids inside for there goodbyes?" I asked while going to take Connie's hand.

"Yes that would be great, thank you" mama had said as the kids ran to ray.

-- After getting connie changed --

" Say goodbye to connie kids " I heard mama say as I walked upstairs to Ray.

"I put bunny in place" I said while sitting down on a stair.

"Good, I will make sure emma and norman-" Ray said before he got cut off

"Y/n it's your turn to walk with me down to the gate tonight" mama said when walking with connie.

"Ok, I'm coming mama" I said while getting up and hugging Ray.

-- at the gate --

" Mama why does Y/n have a strange flower " connie said in confusion

"Don't worry this won't hurt connie" mama said.

I started crying after opening my eyes seeing the white flower turn red. I hated doing the plucking part of the shipments. I then saw emma and norman from run under the truck after seeing mama. I run back to the house knowing the didn't see me

"They saw her" I said while getting into my sleeping clothes.

"Did they see you?" Ray asked I was about to answer but I was interrupted  by emma and norman running up the stairs

"You make it?" Ray asked realizing they didn't have bunny

"N-no" emma said while running to one of the rooms.
