|A few weeks later|

A few weeks ago apparently death eaters took over hogwarts and killed dumbledore

You were staying at Dracos friends place with him when it happened

And Draco seemed weird when he heard it

He ended up telling you that he knew because death eaters were working from his house and he would listen in to the meetings

He left when he realized it isn't safe for him to be there

"I also got into a big fight with my dad since they broke him out of Azkaban, now he's very upset at me because I'm dating you y/n." Draco says and then you realized something

"So that black eye wasn't from falling down the stairs? It was from your father!" You say and Draco nods

"Yeah I lied I'm sorry I didn't want you to worry so I lied." Draco says and you let out a sigh

"Draco you didn't have to lie to me." You say and Draco nods as he looked really sad

"My mom was obviously angry at my dad for punching me and that's why I left because I didn't want to see my dad and it was definitely unsafe in my house." Draco says and you hug him and he hugs you back

"You could have told me!" You say and Draco nods but he was scared to tell you because he felt like he deserved to be punched for some weird reason even if he did nothing wrong

"I should have your right I'm sorry." Draco says as you put your hand on his cheek and he almost started crying *My dad said if I don't break up with y/n I'm a disappointment, my mom didn't say anything just stopped my dad after he went to punch me for a second time she didn't even stop me when I walked out, but then again she probably was busy making sure my dad didn't hurt me again*
