Life is cruel and unforgiving and somedays it's the best goddamn day of your life issei was happy where she was in her life even though shes dead she was happy to have someone who gave her the hope she needed to move pass that but somewhere deep down she knew it wouldn't last as issei was sleeping she had a dream one that felt so real she was standing in a field and her hands where covered in blood she looked for the source of it only to find her friends surrounding her and on the ground laid y/n her lover her world his body had multiple wounds and a hole in his chest rias was there mocking her saying she was too late and that she couldnt save him even if she was strong this broke issei as she fell into dispar she crumbled to her knees in her head she heard the voice of the lion queen say something before she was impaled by a spear of pure light

Outside Rais made eye contact with lady as she flew down she had a look of annoyance and was carrying a bag

Rais: what are you rejects doing here

Mask: nothing just checking on y/n

Rais: oh and hows he doing

Lady: well I think you better see for your self

Mask: bye bitch queen

Box held his hand up and summoned a teleportation circle and a with a flash they dissapeared

Rais: what the fuck was that

Rais looked at isseis place and saw them at first she thought they where sleeping but as she looked closer and saw it her issei was tainted she clenched the bag she was carrying but slowly calmed down she had tears in her eyes and she didnt known this pain in her chest so flew away back to the occult club

Time skip

Issei and y/n where walking to school issei holding y/ns hand had a smile a big grin on her face y/n was happy

Issei: so big boy what are we going to do later

Y/n: we can go to the arcade later try that game you wanted to play

Issei: sure then after that I can treat you to some dinner

Y/n smiled and nodded his head

They made it to school still holding hands which caused a few heads to turn including kiba

Issei: ok what does she want

Kiba: theres an important meeting that you need to attend she even allowed y/n to tag along if he wants to

Y/n:(blushing) it's fine let go to the meeting

They walked to the occult club together and when they made it but something was off issei felt this immensely powerful aura and she pulled y/n closer
